Story Notes

Hi,

This book is one I think I have always wanted to read but realized that if I could just write it why not.

Lol idk what to say this is my very first book

Also I am Aussie and way out of my depth so this is set in Australia and has the slang to go with it. Since I am new at this idk how much spice I will write.

This book will eventually be m/m so if you're a phobe here's the door 🚪

Nick

My gaze blurs as I try to read another application of people wanting to babysit my daughter... or rather the money this job comes with. I check the time realizing it's one in the morning and I have yet again found no one who fits my list of requirements. "I'll just read one more" I murmur out loud to nothing in particular, slowly I click on the last email of the day, or well yesterday. As I read my red puffy eyes widen, it's too good to be true, this guy named Theo Nolan fit every single one of my standards when it comes to my Emmy. I make a mental note to email him at a respectable time in the morning.

I groan as Emmy runs squealing into my bedroom and jumps on top of me."Dad, DAD" she yells right in my ear, bouncing with only the energy a three year old has in the morning. "Mornin' Muffin" I sigh as I sit up and try to pull her into a bear hug but she dodges and thunders down the hall shrieking "COCO POPS TIME" over and over. I stretch my back and neck muscles and sleepily walk down the hall and stairs to find Emmy already siting in her stool banging on the table like the rascal she is."Quiet down" I grumble walking to the pantry for COCO POPS.

As I rummage around for a spoon I suddenly remember the application for the live in babysitter job from last night. When I finally get Emmy settled eating breakie I grab my laptop and send my response.

Let Olive know what you thought about this chapter!

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
