Prologue: The Alleyway…

London, 1922

Two young boys are running around jumping in water puddles after it has rained, but as they approached a near by ally way one of the boys didn’t want to continue further “Umm….Arther….maybe we shouldn’t…..it’s dark down there and supper should be ready soon……” said Peter (Arthers younger brother) while taking a step back. Arther rolls his eyes and turns around looking at Peter “oh cmon don’t be a wuss, look at all the puddles it’ll be loads more fun to run up and down there” Peter thinks for a moment but then shakes his head “I’m sorry but your mental if you think I’m going down there! I’ll just let you go and I’ll stay here.” he says looking down shyly. Arther rolls his eyes and just terns towards the ally way and says “well alright have fun doing nothing!” He then runs off into the alleyway. Peter can hear him jumping around and playing in the water laughing and occasionally calling out to him to come join him but Peter still refuses until suddenly it all goes silent after Peter thinks he here’s a scream, but just shrugs it off as he is zoned out, lost in thought. 10 minutes go by…..”Arther…are you still there?” Peter asks in a worrisome tone….theres no response. Peter shivers as it starts to get cold and darker he can hear the faint sound of there mother calling them in for dinner “Be there in a minute mum!” Peter yells out as he takes a step towards the ally “cmon Arther this really isn’t funny we have got to get going…” still no response. He decides to walk a bit down the ally and when he realizes Arther is no where to be seen he is frozen in place for a moment before calling out “Arther! I said this isn’t funny!” Still no response. A chill runs down young Peter’s spin and he immediately runs back towards home to inform there mother on Arther’s strange disappearance….
