Chapter 1
Hi, my name is Tara. It is a random day that I introduce myself. I work in a product company, and I am a developer. I like chocolates and ice creams; I would give my soul for them. I live with my parents, and I have a sibling, my brother who is older than me. Ahhh, I don't want to talk about that dumbass; he is such an awful person. Not sometimes, though, especially when he brings his best friend to our house. Basically, he is our neighbor. My parents and his are thick friends. I have a crush on him—shhh, keep it as a secret.
It was an awful day. My parents left me and my brother alone and told us to cook for ourselves. When we are alone, we used to fight like enemies. Someone rang the bell; he told me to go. I told him to go, and we argued for one minute. The person was still standing outside hearing us fight. Then I opened the door. It was him, my crush, Noah. I blushed after seeing him. He was laughing.
"You guys still fight like babies," he passed that comment and went inside.
I was so embarrassed and closed the door. I went to my room.
He said, "Where are you going? Come here. I brought lunch for both of you. Yeah, my parents went out with his parents."
I said, "Thank you."
He replied, "No need. Come eat first."
I glared at my brother and went near him. He served us. How cool is he? ;)
I said, "The food is spicy and rich. Thanks," and smiled at him.
"Stop showing your 32 teeth," my brother said. I glared at him again.
After eating, I came to my room. I didn't know what to do, so I slept. A huge noise hit my ears, and I went out to see what happened. It was my brother; he broke the vase my mother bought. It was her favorite one. I smirked at him; he got me.
"Don't you dare tell her," he said.
After hearing him, I laughed and said, "Then don't fight with me or beat me, okay? Or else you know the consequences."
I went down to clean it. Noah also helped us.
"Come here, massage my leg. I am so tired. You didn't do any tiring work today, why should I do it?" he told me.
I raised my eyebrows. "Okay, fine," he said.
I laughed at him with evil eyes. "Do it, come here."
I called him. Noah was simply standing and seeing what was happening. He told Noah to go to his room. He said, "It's okay, I will wait here."
Then someone rang the bell. It was Noah's sister, Arin, my best friend. I said, "Come in."
Noah asked, "You came here?"
She told him, "You went to drop off the lunch but you settled here, and I was also bored, so I came here."
She pushed her brother and came towards me. And by the way, she knows I have a crush on her brother. At the same time, she has a crush on my brother. What a coincidence, right? We both love each other's brother.
"What is happening here?" asked Noah.
I explained everything. She laughed upon hearing it. "You guys didn't even change after growing up." She pulled me up. "Come, let's go to our house. I have lots to say."
"Okay," I said and followed her.
We were chatting for so many hours, and time passed like fine wine. I returned to my house to see Noah and my brother playing video games. I said it was time we ordered something to eat, as our parents would return home by morning; till then, we had to take care. I called Arin to come here to order food. We both ordered and ate the food. They were still playing. I turned it off and told them to eat. We chit-chatted for a long time. It was a day where we four were so busy that we couldn't spend time together for a long term.
Next morning, my parents came and asked what we did yesterday. Rish was telling everything except the vase part.
"So you guys had fun?" my father asked.
I nodded my head, and it was time for office again. Rish dropped me at my office and went to his. Noah and he work in the same company; Arin works in a different one, so we get less time to meet. After a tiring day, I called Rish to pick me up. He said he would come. I was waiting for a long time, and then the car came. I opened the door and was about to ask why he was late, but instead of Rish, Noah came.
I asked him, "Where is he?"
Noah told me, "He had last-minute work, so he asked me to pick you up."
I said, "Oh."
The drive was so cool. My face was fully red like a tomato. He saw my face and touched it; he checked the temperature.
"Did you catch a cold?"
I said, "No, it's hot."
"Wait." He stopped the car to buy medicine.
I said, "It's okay, let's go."
He didn't listen. Bruuhhh, I didn't get a fever; it was because of seeing you that my body goes into a submissive condition. I didn't know what to say. He came with medicines and asked me to take them. I said I would after eating dinner, and we went home. I got my air back after reaching home. I opened my window; I can see his room from mine. I secretly see him from my window. Beside him is Arin's room.
After eating dinner, I came to my room. I was curious about what he was doing. Suddenly I heard, "What are you seeing, baby?"
I got startled by the voice. It was him. He came to my room via the window.
I asked, "What are you doing here?"
He didn't reply.
"Say something," I told him.
He came towards me. I went backward. He caged me with his hands.
"What are you doing?" I panicked.
He leaned in to kiss me.
"WAKE UP!" my brother yelled.
I came out of a dream. It was a dream. My heart was pacing like it was going to come out. I couldn't explain the feelings; my stomach had butterflies. In the morning, I was so happy and went to the office. I had more work to do. I literally forgot about my dream and what happened in the car yesterday. I was smiling like a lunatic kid.
My friend Karrin asked, "Are you okay?"
"Yes," I told her and started to continue my work.
I completed it finally and called Arin to tell her what happened. She said, "Come home," and hung up the call.
I came back home, ate dinner, changed my clothes, and went to see Arin. She was in her room. The next thing I saw shocked me. Arin and Rish were kissing passionately. Behind me, Noah was standing. He was also shocked to see it. He was about to call them, but I dragged him to his room.
"Don't," I said. "Arin has had feelings for Rish for a long time. I know it. Now they got together."
After some time, I again went to Arin's room. Noah followed me. Rish was also there. I knocked on the door. She said yes. I opened it; they were holding their hands tightly.
Arin said, "It's official guys, I am so happy."
But Noah's expression changed. "What?" I asked.
He asked Arin, "Why didn't you say this to me earlier?"
She said, "I didn't know how you would take it, so I didn't say."
He asked Rish, "Why didn't you say you got feelings for Arin? I am happy you guys are together, but you should have told me before." He went to his room.
I was happy for them, but at the same time, I was worried for Noah too. I knocked on his room; he didn't open it. His parents were not there. I asked Arin where they were. She said they were here; I don't know where they vanished. I walked to my house to see all four were cheering with drinks in their hands.
I asked, "What happened? Why are you all laughing?"
They said, "We are happy for them and cheering up," and also said they want grandkids to play.
"You heard what happened in Arin's room?"
They told me yes and started to drink. I again came to Noah's house. His room was still locked. I knocked again. He was still inside. After a few minutes, I was about to go to my house when he opened the door. I went inside.
"Why are you sad? It's not a big thing to be sad about. Cheer up. Let's be happy for them. Even our parents are happy for it and asked for a grandkid also. It's okay," I told him.
His eyes got little tears. I couldn't bear seeing him in that state. I went and hugged him tightly. I was thinking, *what will he do when he gets to know about my feelings? Will he abandon me?* We were in a hugging position for a long time. I saw his face and his eyes; it was so beautiful. Then Arin came and hugged us.
"I am sorry," she told us.
Then Rish came and hugged us. He also said sorry. We four were hugging so tight.
Arin said, "It's my treat. Let's eat, come." She ordered the food. We celebrated like a festival.
Our parents asked them, "When are you going to get married?"
"What? Too soon!" Arin replied. "Give us some space," she told them.
"Of course, you can marry whenever you want," her parents told her.
We finished our dinner and went to our respective rooms. Before going to my room, I saw Noah's face; it was calm, so I didn't mind him.
After a two-month gap, Arin's relationship got very serious. They wanted to get married by the end of the year. She tried to ship me and Noah together, but it didn't work.
"Let's go on a trip," Arin announced.
I asked, "Where?"
She said, "Where you like, baby," and winked at me. I didn't understand what she was trying to do.
"Come pack your bags, I have booked the ticket."
I asked, "You are informing me at the last minute? Arin, I have to ask permission first."
She had a baby face; I couldn't scold her anymore. I packed my bags. Till now, she didn't say where we were going. After getting the boarding pass, we came to know we are going to HAWAII.
"I love the beach! Thanks, darling." I winked at Arin; she knows everything about me.
The flight was long, and we reached the destination finally. We went to the hotel she booked. The receptionist gave only two keys. I was surprised; it should be three rooms, right? She saw again and said only two rooms had been booked. I looked at Arin. *You girl.* I asked them for an extra room. She said all the other rooms were booked as it was season time. Arin said she will be with Rish only, so we had no other choice but to share a room with NOAH, my crush. Bruhhhh, how can I do it?
We left for our respective rooms. I knew Arin did it purposely, but I couldn't prove it. She said bye and left with Rish.
The room was so good; it had a beautiful view. In my room, he said he would freshen up and went inside the bathroom. I nodded. I removed my top and was about to change into a nightdress. Suddenly he came out for a towel and got stuck after seeing my naked upper body. I turned. He froze like a statue, and we were seeing each other with surprised faces for more than one minute. Then sense came to me, and I wore my clothes. He again went inside. My heart was beating like a motor.
He came out and said, "Sorry."
I said, "It's okay, I was not conscious. Sorry," I said and ran inside the bathroom to freshen up. It was a tiring flight, and we ate dinner on the way.
He said, "I will sleep on the sofa; you can sleep in the bed."
I said, "It's okay, it's a large bed only. We both can sleep in this itself."
He paused for a minute and said, "Okay."
I turned off the main lights; only the dim light was on. He came to the bed and asked, "Sorry," again.
"What? For the whole trip, you are going to ask only sorry?" I told him and saw his face.
He didn't reply. His face was glowing. His lips were like candy. I was staring at him for a longer time. He was staring at mine. I don't know for how many minutes we were staring at each other. I could hear his heartbeat; it was faster than mine. Within a second, I slept.
"TARA," he called me.
I woke up.
"It's late, wake up. I was trying to wake you up for a long time."
I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me. "Let me sleep for minutes." I held his hand. He didn't know what to do and waited patiently. Sense came immediately, and I opened my eyes. I thought it was a dream.
"I am sorry," I said loudly and went inside the bathroom to bathe.
We went to see places; it was so beautiful. We took many pictures and sent them to our parents. Arin asked if anything happened last night. I told her everything.
"Awww," she gave a reply. "Don't worry, I have a huge plan for you today."
I asked, "What?" She didn't say. I wished it should not be uncomfortable.
We visited the places which were allotted for us today. Arin said, "Let's go have fun," and dragged us to the bar to drink. Hell no, I have 0% alcohol tolerance, so this was a thing. But everyone here knows about it. Within one peg I got drunk and started to drink more. We drank like donkeys, and at last, went to our rooms. The other three got sober a little, but I didn't even sober up for a minute. I couldn't even walk. Noah lifted me to our room and placed me in the bed and went inside the bathroom to bathe.
He came out and ordered hangover soup for me. I couldn't even get up. He made me sit and fed me the soup. It was calming me, but at the same time, it was so hot. I turned on the AC and raised the temperature. He gave honey water to me. After that, I started to undress in front of him.
He said, "Stop, TARA."
But within a minute, I was naked. I didn't know why I did that. He saw me naked again and brought me the nightdress from my luggage. I didn't have much energy to put it on, so I told him to put it on me. He was surprised to see how I was behaving. He dressed me up like I was his small baby. He was taking care of me like a boyfriend, or like a husband, or like his property.
He turned off the lights and came to bed. I was seeing his face again. I touched his nose and blabbered, "Do you know how I like you? His lips are like chocolate where I want to taste it." I pointed to his lips and said, "Candy, can I get it?"
He was seeing all the things I was doing. He caressed my hair, and I ruffled his hair and laughed. "So soft hair. His eyes, it was so pure like it was only mine." I leaned in and kissed his forehead; it was soft. He didn't give any reaction and hugged me. I slept after hugging him tightly.
Next morning, I opened my eyes. I saw him hugging me tightly. The memories of what I did last night hit me. I was embarrassed to face him. I closed my eyes tightly. *God, please save me.* I opened my eyes slightly. He was staring at me. Bruhhhh, I am dead now, bury me.
He said, "Open your eyes," and pulled me closer. His voice was so dominating.
Someone rang the bell. We didn't respond. Arin called Noah; he attended it. I couldn't remove his hand from my body; he was holding it so firmly and told Arin, "We are coming today. You and Rish can go wherever you want and don't disturb us." He told her with a louder tone.
I thought I was going to be dead today. He will not talk to me hereafter. I was hell-a scared like a lost puppy. He again pulled me closer. My heart raced; my stomach did butterfly effects at the wrong time. I was seeing him; he saw my eyes and my lips, and we both were staring at each other for a long time.
Then I told him, "Leave me, I want to pee."
He told me, "No," and grabbed me tighter than before. What? He is not going to let me go today? I am going to be caged. Ahhhhh, this thing, I wish those memories to be vanished from his mind. Again I saw him like a lost puppy. He gave a smirk, like a dominating one.
"I didn't know you were like this," he said.
My heart went to his top speed. I didn't reply to him.
"You could have said it earlier," he said.
"What?" I asked.
"This," he said and kissed me.
I was shocked at first and kissed him back fearlessly, and we pulled out.
"You could have said it before that you love me," he said.
I didn't reply.
"Let's have a fun day then," he said.
I was amused. "What is it? I again want to pee, please."
And he left me. My heart race didn't stop. I went inside the bathroom and locked it, then I breathed slowly. I did my morning routine and came out. I couldn't find him. He tapped my shoulder from the side. I got startled and was about to fall down. He grabbed me by holding my hips; it was like a romantic scene. The next thing what he did shocked me even more. He lifted me and placed me in the bed, and he crawled towards me.
"I have ordered food for us. We will be in the room for today."
"Why?" I asked.
"You don't know?" he asked me.
I didn't know what to say. He kissed me again so passionately. I was wondering why he is kissing me today. Then it struck me: he also likes me.
He pulled out and said, "I love you."
I got shy by hearing it. Now I knew what to do, and I pulled him to kiss. I started to undress, and he gave hickeys all over my body. I never imagined that these things were going to happen.

Arin and Rish came to see us. We told them what happened. They laughed at me after hearing what happened last night. We called our parents and told them the news.
They told us, "We knew it. That's why we booked only two rooms." They winked at us.
"So you guys knew it?" I saw Noah, and he kept smiling.
