Unnerving in all the right ways
"The story starts off eerily normal and quickly descends into something darker. Frost is very relatable, and her change from a normal person to something distinctly other is very well-handled. The pace is incredibly rapid, moving you from one event to another without being overwhelming. The writer provides ample opportunities to catch a breath and soak in the plot arcs. Stakes are established early on, and it's easy to understand what is happening. All-in-all a dark, gritty story. I am so curious to see how it story progresses!"
