"Nicole has done it again! Another cant-put-it-down story. Loved how it starts out just a touch more risky than we’d usually expect, and the South Africanisms iadd the perfect bit of charm and authenticity. Adding this to my list of favorites "

"I really enjoyed this! Be ready for a hot, steamy, full of twists and action packed ride... I completely fell in love with the characters 😍 This book is more than romance. It has action, mafia, spice, girl power and so much more... The only reason I've put 4 stars for the plot is because I feel this could have been 2 books that now are happening in one. So much happens action wise, that sometimes the buildup and change in their relationship is more in the background. I would have loved to see a more gradual change in that. The conflicting emotions from want, need and love come a bit more to the forefront, but besides that, the book was amazing and had me hooked! I will definitely read more work from Nicole. Thank you for your talent 🖤"

"I'm not usually a fan of the dom/sub relationships, but I just loved this story!! Love both the main characters and I love that there was no drama in their relationship, they wanted to be together and so they were, they didn't turn on each other at all, very refreshing to read. "I devoured this book in two days! Two! Really liked the pacing, the detail around her feelings esp the anxiety around being close to her abuser. And loved the breadcrumbs about Lia and her brother - I would not be mad at a little mini story of them or bonus cut of D and N. Will definitely be reading more of her work!"
