Summary

The Gentleman Show is a story that started with a simple idea: what if intelligence was more dangerous than violence? Fahad Al Karim is not loud. He doesn’t threaten people. He doesn’t rush. He just thinks. And the more he thinks, the more the world around him starts to break in quiet ways. Fahad isn’t trying to be a hero, and he definitely isn’t trying to be a villain. He’s just a man who lost his brother and decided that truth matters more than peace. Frostbite-Wayne Kawakami-stands beside him, not behind him. Frostbite is strength, but controlled strength. He knows how to enjoy life, and he knows what it feels like to kill someone when there is no other choice. That’s why he kneels for the dead. Not because he’s weak, but because he understands the cost. Frostbite is the kind of man who could destroy everything, yet chooses not to. That choice makes him dangerous in a different way. The world they live in doesn’t fall apart loudly. It decays slowly. Children go missing. Leaders smile and lie at the same time. Science crosses lines because no one stopped it early enough. Everyone is in a hurry. And that hurry wakes something up. Khramon is not a monster because he wants to be. He is a monster because humans needed one. He was created, used, and abandoned. When he speaks, he doesn’t sound insane he sounds honest. That’s what makes him terrifying. He doesn’t ask forgiveness.

Chapter 1 - Journey Begins

Thousand Year Ago,

In the shining city of Constantinople, a baby named Basil was born in a special purple room of the palace. This meant he was born to be a king.

But Basil's father died when he was young, so he and his brother wore crowns they were too small to carry. While they grew, their great-uncle ruled the empire for them.

When Basil became older, he stood tall and said,

"I will protect my people now."

And he did.

Basil wasn't a king who sat on a throne all day. He rode with his soldiers, led them through mountains and forests, and kept his people safe from danger. He even made brave warriors from faraway lands, called the Varangian Guard, his friends and protectors.

Everyone knew Basil was strong, wise, and fearless. They called him Basil the Brave.

When he grew old, he planned one more adventure, but he became tired and closed his eyes forever. Yet people never forgot him.

Because once, a little boy born in purple became one of the greatest kings the world had ever seen.

The Present Time(Flashback)....

The story you've heard so far was told by Fahad's older brother to Fahad so that he can sleep after hearing a good bedtime story. Then, after Fahad fell asleep, Fahad's older brother also fell asleep next to him.

In The Morning....

It's morning, the sky outside is dark with clouds. A cold wind is blowing. The birds are singing. Today's date was 12th June, 2015. Fahad's older brother Farooq wakes up and makes breakfast for Fahad.

Fahad's father died when his mother was pregnant. Fahad's mother also died while giving birth to him. 10-year-old Fahad. Does he even know what an orphan means? He thinks of his brother as everything. His older brother is his parents.

Today was Fahad's birthday. Farooq called Fahad. And Fahad also woke up. Fahad freshened himself and sat down to eat breakfast. Fahad and Farooq finished eating breakfast. Then Farooq got ready to go to work.

Even though Farooq doesn't want to, his younger brother has to leave him alone at home and go to work every day. Otherwise, where will they get the money?

Farooq promises Fahad that he will come home early today and take him out to eat and give him lots of gifts. But maybe Fahad wasn't destined for lots of gifts and going out to eat.

Little Fahad sat in front of the door all day, waiting for his brother to come. As he waited, evening came. It was raining heavily outside, the call to prayer for Maghrib had just been given. Lightning was flashing because of the rain. Fahad was feeling very scared. Suddenly, the electricity in the house went out. Fahad's fear increased even more because he was alone at home.

Suddenly, Fahad heard the sound of someone falling down outside. He slowly moved forward with his bat. Then, when he opened the window with trembling hands, he could see his older brother, Farooq. His body was covered in blood. He was calling out to Fahad.

Fahad quickly dropped the bat in his hand and went to Farooq. Farooq was trying to say something but couldn't. There was a police station nearby, Fahad ran there and told the police everything. But Fahad was poor. So the police did not help him in any way.

Fahad ran, drenched in the rain, to Farooq again. But by then it was too late. Farooq was no longer alive. Fahad, drenched in the rain, looked at his brother's body with one glance. It seemed that along with his brother, all the fear inside Fahad died.

That day, Farooq died, but Fahad's name was taken away. Fahad disappeared from society. And then he returned as

The Gentleman.

A person who does not know the meaning of fear. A person who sees the world as dirt. He thinks the world is not beautiful. He only sees justice. He only wants revenge for his brother. He is someone who even his death is part of his plan. He is The Gentleman.

To Be Continued.
