Chapter 1 : The glitch
I woke up,but my body didn't
My eyes weren open. My celing fan spun lazily above me. Moonlight spiled throught the window, painting th room silver
I tried to move ,
Nothing happened
My chest tightened ,
"Ah_"
No sound came out.
Then the world shuttered
The fan foze. Restrated. Froze again.
The walls bet inward like glass under pressure -then sanped back.
"What...is happening...?"
My heartbeat thundered under my ears.
The corner of my room darkned- not like shadow but like something thick folding into a shape.
A figure stepped forward .
Tall. Empty. Wrong.
I couldn't breath.
It leaned close, its voice crawled straight into my mind
"You are chise"
My vision blurred
"Destroy it before it destroys you"
"Destroy what-?" I tried to scream
The shadow smiled
The world shattered into black
I woke up again
Morning sunlight . Blue sky
Same city.
Same buildings
But outsude my window-
A boy floated through air , laughin, wind magic swrilling his feet
My breath caught.
A transulcent screen appeared before my eys it said ," Welcome chise, choose your mgic,
Dark , earth, wind, wate, light "
I tried to reach for light
Th scren glitches
Sttic tore across it
"ERROR " it said
A new message appeared
"Dak magice equipped
Level-1"
"No-wait_i didn't choose that!"
Th scren vaished
A cold weight settled in my heart
And somewhere deep inside me-
Somthing laughed
