Start of the change

On the Chirps Street 815, lived Mr. J, an old man, full of kindness, who owned an old, dull flower shop. People always opened and closed their mouths, gossiping about the pure man and the dusky little room. Mr. J was a humble man, who never spoke badly about anyone in his past 81 years. This old man’s name was Mr. J.M, short for Julian Marty. Everyone who lived at Charming’s village called him Mr. Juli, except Mr. J’s grand daughter, Elena.

To describe Elena (the little girl who lived with Mr. J), it might take an immense amount of time so I’ll do it shortly. Well, Elena had long, golden hair that looked like beautiful flames, and had the most honest smile on her face. Her ocean blue eyes reflected everyone’s respecting- like smile, and her rose pink lips were a jealousy of the most rich queens.

Mr.J loved how Elena’s long blond hair brushed his cheeks while they slept, and how she read books to him with her gentle, soft voice. But now you might have noticed that Elena does not have parents to read her a story. Well, Elena’s parents Mrs and Mr Artmore, worked at Castelia. Their arms and legs were busy running around the castle and examining the student’s homework.

Further more, they had to work extra hard, due to the upcoming ceremony.

It was Elena’s only hope to wait until her twelfth birthday, and at last, see her parents inside the Castelia gates. Children at Castelia had to be over 12 years old, and have at least one royal parent, although those children found it hard to blend in with the others.

Thankfully, Elena had both Royal parents and were 11 years old. Her birthday was December 12, and today, a Saturday with snow piled up outside, was November 11, and Elena had to wait about one month for her letter. The Letter that I just mentioned, is not just any letter. It was a letter from Castelia for the new students. Rumors tell that the letter has a envelope made of pale blue silk, and precious gems holding the silk together. According to Mr. Benry on the top of the hill, he says that the letter it self is beautiful. The letters are wrote with Golden ink, and there are the vice principals’s signature made of special ink from the far away Arctic.

Legends say that these ink is made of diamond mixed gems from the snow of the very top of the Royal mountain. The Royal mountain is a mountain that changes its place all the time. On the Castelia 15 year old students field trip day, the students go to the Royal mountain and sign their names on the snow. This signature helps the royal children walk a right, peaceful path until they become the king and queen of their lands.

Although the villagers were eager to know what Elena’s letter looked like, the most excited of them all was Elena. As she crossed out the days in her royal calendar (made by her Father), she felt as if she was waiting for the biggest change in her life. The thought of getting the letter nearly made Elena shout out “I LOVE BEING IN A ROYAL FAMILY!!” But Mr. J gave Elena some chamomile tea to calm her down, just in time.

Now you’ll wonder, ’so HOW is this Mr.J even Related to the Artmore family?!’

The answer is quite simple. When the 816th principal retired, the 816th vice principal followed out of Castelia. This made Castelia’s students outrageous. There were no other royal schools and their parents couldn’t bare to send them to normal school. One by one, the students left Castelia, and the teachers complained to the government, but it was no use. The people had no idea about the Royal world, and honestly, they didn’t even want to know about it. After that, it was only Charming’s village that knew about the faint magic that were used by the royal families.

The Royal families, in the other hand, were furious. Their children didn’t have a school to go in, and the governments won’t help a bit. This was the start of Crown vale village. The Royal families found spare land on the edge of the country. It was apart from the villages, quiet, and also, it had the spirit of the Royal families. It was Mr. J, who found the ‘Royal book about royals’. This book told every single King and queen about the spirits of the Royal families, and the very faint magic they needed to protect.

Now, about the faint magic. At first, the royal families them selves didn’t believe in magic. No one knew why, but it just seemed so impossible. Magic only seemed possible near the Royal mountain. But soon they realized they were wrong since their most oldest ancestors. Magic was actually real! Elena got to know about this since she was a baby in her mother’s arms. Her mother who at last chose to be the 818th vice principal, and his father, the 817th principal, had strong beliefs about faint magic. Every Saturday night, Elena’s parents told her a continuing story about the magic that only appears to the Royal family.Elena always listened quietly- today too. The story seemed so old and childish, but Elena never opened her mouth to complain. “So the magic swept the forest as the royal family slept. I’ll tell you the rest next week, honey. “Mrs. Artmore’s gentle voice tickled Elena’s ears as she drifted off to sleep.

The next day, the snow stopped. Elena opened her eyes and noticed her parents have already gone to the Royal government. They needed advertisements about being Castelia’s new tea time teacher, and the dresser. Because many people decided to be a king or queen, there weren’t much people to be one. If a Royal (a ‘Royal’ means ’a person from the royal family) decided to live normally, instead of being a king or queen(Although Elena found out shortly), worked for Crown vale village. Throughout the royal day and nights of Mr. Artmore, he knew all about them.

It was a great problem for Castelia if they did not have a Tea time teacher and a Dresser. Although Mr. Vino wasn’t a Royal blood, he was summoned to the Royal world by the faint magic at Mrs. Artmore’s birth day. It was her birthday wish for a dresser at Castelia. His dress making skills and suit designs were out standing. Besides, Mr. Vino didn’t have a house, and slept on the rode of Charming’s village making clothes. But the Tea time teacher, Ms. Kelly’s resignation was way more serious. As Elena’s mother has said, Tea time was included in the ‘TOP 5 important Royal times’ book. Ms.Kelly signed away resignation because one teacher she “Loved“signed away too(well it is obviously Mr. Vino). Well, it didn’t mean much to Elena, though it was heart breaking for her parents. Elena crossed out another day of her calendar with her pen, hoping her day of understanding came soon.

Elena’s ‘not- snowing- Sunday’ was always her busiest day. Mr. J didn’t go to his Flower shop on not- snowing- Sundays, and Elena had made up her mind to make sure the humble old man had this day as comfortable as an actual king. Elena changed into her finest clothes and made her bed. She cooked toast and added raspberry jam, Mr. J’s favorite. After changing the flowers in the vase into daisies and roses, the only thing left was wait until Mr. J got up.

Elena heard Mr. J making his bed after he yawned. She saw a glimpse of Mr. J’s brown pajamas. And as she saw Mr. J come out of his room, she couldn’t help but gasp. Mr. J had wore his pants the wrong way, his slippers matched to the wrong way, and he looked exhausted. “Something wrong, grandpa?” Elena asked worriedly. “It’s all fine, Elena.” Mr. J told her. “Nothing wrong.” But it didn’t seem like nothing was wrong. Mr. J didn’t even finished his breakfast and went out.

Elena was taken aback by Mr. J’s behavior. Even at the most snowy, frigid day when he had gotten a cold, Mr. J finished his breakfast and went off to get a chessboard to play with Elena. Elena was certain that something had gotten wrong. Even though she had no idea what was going on, Elena’s “Busy day” wasn’t over. On Sundays, Elena was supposed to open the flower shop. As Elena grabbed her coat and scarf, Mr. J rushed into the house. He was panting hard, almost as a gasp, and plummeted into the sofa. His trembling lips barely made a sound. “Th,the f, flower shop..” he moaned, leaning towards Elena. “Th, the government decided t, to demolish it.”
