A quite holiday morning
Steps I Took Today
Date: 7 .saturday.2026
Today I woke up to a school holiday. My head felt heavy when I opened my eyes, but my heart felt lighter. Last night, before sleeping, I talked to my best friend. Talking to her always makes me feel better—it lowers the weight I carry inside me. After our conversation, I felt calm and understood, and that happiness stayed with me when I woke up.
Later in the day, I helped my mother clean the house because our maid hasn’t been available for a few days. I tried my best to help. At one point, my mother taunted me, and even though she became normal again after some time, those words stayed with me and made my day a little upset.
There is also something from school that still hurts me deeply. Even today, it keeps roaming in my head, refusing to leave. I remember that moment clearly—the time when tears started falling from my eyes, and I carried that pain with me the whole way back home. I haven’t been able to forget it yet, and maybe I don’t need to. Some feelings take time to soften.
Today reminded me that even on holidays, old memories can still ache. But I’m learning to sit with those feelings instead of hiding from them.
