Before we begin, a teeny-tiny heads up.
Initially, I had intended to create a full-fledged thriller with these characters. However, I fell in love with the concept of them and wanted to focus on a slice-of-life centred around these characters, rather than a time-ticking adrenaline inducing series.

The first few chapters shall be Rom-com, followed up by an investigative-thriller “𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝛐𝐧 𝚨𝐫𝐜” from chapter 6.
So those who wish to immediately experience the thrill of a fast-paced thriller, skip to chapter-5.

This story exists in a current, fictional universe where R.A.I.D. (Rapid Action & Intelligence Division) is a Special operations Unit that steps in when situations go beyond the local police control, cue--serial-murders investigations, hostage negotiations, smuggling rings etc.

Our male lead, Jay Rathore, is the lead of a Beta Sub-unit in the R.A.I.D--a life that demands every bit of seriousness--but as a person? He’s dramatic, a little unhinged, and definitely not as intimidating at home as he is outside.
Our female lead, Brinda Rathore, is the opposite kind of strength. She’s graceful, traditional, and steady--the kind of woman who doesn’t need to announce herself to be assertive. She believes in doing, not explaining.
