CHAPTER 1: 15 SECONDS OF BETRAYAL
The damp air of the park right next to the school felt even heavier with the wet, deep French kiss between Elara and Julian’s lips. Julian’s hands roamed possessively around Elara’s waist, while Elara savored the moment. However, just fifteen seconds after they parted, the sight Elara saw when she turned around fueled the Scorpio fire within her.
Julian was already deep in conversation with a group of three girls just a few steps away. One of them, with her slutty attitude, twirled her hair around her finger, throwing flirtatious glances at Julian with fake laughter. The blood in Elara’s veins instantly heated up. Her steps were as silent and determined as a hunter’s. She stormed into the middle of the group, shoving the girl aside and positioning herself between her and Julian. “What’s going on here? Are they handing something out?” Elara bellowed. Julian stepped back in surprise. “What are you doing, Elara? We were just talking. Calm down. I don’t like this kind of thing,” he said. Elara shot Julian a look of hatred and desire mixed together; the look of fear on that slut’s face was the sweetest start to Elara’s day.
