A true emotional journey - Robert Rope. 💜
" This book was one of a kind, very deep and an emotional ride this was for me. The feel of the characters you really felt with their links to one another. This book felt so deeply raw and real for me, this book pulled me in from the first chapter and you really get a real visualisation for the characters as you read on. Robert for me was indeed a complex character with so much emotion in different avenues in life. The time it was set in the 60s amazing and you can see research was done fitting this story. I like to not give anyway anything regarding this book because it is a true treasure not to give away such a book. This author done an outstanding job thank you for such a deep and moving book with everything that was created a book that will stay with me for as long as time. 💜 Five stars all the way lovely 💜"
A Love Letter to Life
"I loved the characters, the atmosphere, the between-the-lines details, and most of all, the journey. It rang for me the way On the Road once did. Like adventure. Like what it means to find your people, and what it means to lose some of them. How one small choice can open up the world if you're not afraid to make it. It spanned a lifetime and still left me with the promise of life ahead. I’m sad to see Rob go. Sad to say goodbye to Ollie, Grace, and Sylvia. But I’m happy I got to walk among them for a little while. This story has been my companion for the last several months. I purposely took my time, rationing out the chapters so it wouldn’t slip away too quickly. Because stories like this hurt me to read, but in the best possible way. Like a muscle getting sore before it gets stronger. I loved with them, hoped with them, laughed with them, and felt their sadness. It tears at me that their story is over for me, but they made my heart grow."
An amazing story set in a legendary time
"Oh, I loved this story. ✨💚 It's about growing up and finding yourself, about family, friendship, love, and music – all set in a legendary time. 🎸🥰 Rob is a complex character who really grew close to my heart. Throughout the story, he matures from an insecure boy into a confident man. He doesn't always make the right decisions and it takes him a while to find the right path for himself. I suffered with him, celebrated with him, and was sometimes frustrated. But that's exactly how it should be. The supporting characters were wonderfully developed as well. The setting, the atmosphere, the whole festival vibe came across beautifully. A few questions remain open at the end, which makes me hope there might be a sequel? But even if not, it's a wonderful story that captivated me from start to finish. Highly recommended! ✨💚😊"
An Unforgettable Emotional Journey
"This book is a masterpiece of emotional storytelling. The character of Rob is so raw and real that I felt every bit of his pain and joy. The atmosphere of the 60s and the legendary Woodstock setting were captured perfectly. Thank you, author, for this beautiful journey through the "notebook of a life. It’s sad to say goodbye to these characters, but I’m glad I followed their journey to the very last page. 5 stars!"
Exceptional/Exciting
"Very intriguing I must continue to read for sure in between my own writing goals, I am interested in book editing too and I find reading other authors styles helps me learn a great deal. What I like what I don't like and appreciating the differences in styles is very interesting for me. This story as a great foundation. Good dept."
Stays with you
"Robert Rope is the kind of story that stays with you after you put it down. GraceVGreen has created something truly special here — a richly layered portrait of a young man searching for meaning against the backdrop of 1960s America. Rob is such a compelling character, flawed and tender and achingly real, the kind of person you root for because he doesn't yet see in himself what the reader already can. The writing has this beautiful, almost cinematic quality to it — you can practically hear the music, smell the smoke, and feel the restless energy of the road."
Where Memories Hold the Heart
"This story, told through Rob’s memories, feels deeply intimate and heartfelt. It’s filled with warmth, family bonds, and beautifully woven moments of humor that make everything feel real and alive. The emotion surrounding Rob’s family is portrayed so vividly — their love and closeness truly shine through the pages. The scenes about his father pierced my heart; the sadness and quiet pain were captured with such authenticity that they lingered long after reading. Sylvia is my absolute favorite — a true sister and a loyal friend, strong yet tender in all the right ways. The story flows effortlessly, carrying you gently through Rob’s memories, making it impossible not to feel alongside him. I’m genuinely excited to see how the story between Rob and Ollie unfolds and comes to its conclusion.🤍🤍"
To be honest , not only the story is written with great precision and plot development as a novel, but the author behind this book is definitely one of the most talented authors out there, who knows how original writing is written, without any use of Artificial intelligence for writing because one can really understand the difference so well. The character development are on point too. Keep it up, author !
