Dusk And His Embrace

My landlord's health is declining and he's getting older and can't take care of the bar downstairs anymore and I'm caught between getting out before the new owner takes over or waiting it out and begging to stay here, I've been in this apartment for 6 years and I don't want to lose it, Edgar reassured me he would do everything he can to make sure i don't have to go anywhere but I don't know if i trust that, i have a child to think about, à child who is a lycan and it's been hard for me to deal with her emotional outbursts and running away in the middle of the night and shifting during every moon cycle, it's getting to me so bad because I don't know what to do. I came downstairs, to wait on edgar and when he came in, he said good morning and gave me a hug.

Edgar: How are you this morning ?

Serena: I'm good. Didn't sleep much ? You ?

Edgar: Same, honestly. Arthritis is killing me.

Serena: What did the doctor say ?

Serena: It's an incredible spot, i like it. I spent slot of money with you and for the rent I'm not complaining though. So, why Ronan ?

Serena: Wait you do ?

Ronan: Yeah, apparently. So, Edgar asked me to let you continue living upstairs and I'm not gonna say no so I don't need you to pay me $400 a month I make enough but I'll lower it to $250, how does that sound ?

Serena: That sounds really awesome actually. Thank you. I don't even know what to say.

Edgar: I'm so glad that we could work something out.

Miranda: * hangs up the phone * God damn it!

Serena: Miranda ?! What happened ?

Miranda: Violet's school called....

Miranda: We gotta pull her out of there...this is getting to be every other week.

Miranda: Violet, my granddaughter. She's been acting out. We don't know how to deal with it.

Officer 2: I didn't say anything. It was this guy.

Officer 1: Who are you ?

They spoke outside and he had Miranda sit down and calm down she was still looking at them with hatred in her eyes.

Serena: I think what's best for violet is too pull her out of public school most lycan children flourish in the public school system but violet is different she doesn't have a male role model to help her through this and i found someone who's gonna help her and get her to an all lycan school i feel like that's what's best right now as I'm sure she's suspended.

Principle: It's hard to watch i know. I'm so sorry this happened. She's been okay for two weeks, I know she's tried her hardest but i don't know what more we can do for her.

Serena: It's fine we tried that's all that matters but I have someone who will help her with this. I'd like to speak to the boys parents, have they watched this ?

They were confused and I'm surprised that she has that ability makes me wonder what's she's not telling me.

Violet: I asked them to let me see them to heal him and they wouldn't let me...

The parents thanked me and Serena and Ronan made sure there was no signs of lycanthropy but he gave them his business card if anything begins to happen as sometimes the symptoms can be dormant and pop up at random moments without warning at all, violet ran to Miranda's arms and i finished getting her papers and getting her out of that school once and for all. Ronan, looked at me the entire time and i put everything away in her folder so i didn't lose anything, violet was sucking on her thumb looking up at him and he pinched her cheeks and she got shy around him and hid her face, Miranda started laughing.

Miranda: She's a little shy.

Ronan: That's okay. I'm sure we will be good friends.

Violet was snickering and trying her best not to smile and look at him and she's just like her momma cute boys make her blush Miranda grabbed her stuff and took her to the car and i thanked Ronan for everything bringing me here and helping me out, i am so appreciative.

Ronan: No worries at all, I'll make sure she's taken cared of. Let me finish whatever i gotta finish with the bar and i'll take you to my community and get her started, I'm all over the place with different things i gotta do.

Serena: Take all the time you need, we can wait however long. You know where to find me when you're ready.

Miranda: You almost ready ?

Serena: Yeah.

I was honestly hoping he'd want to fuck me but that wouldn't be likely, he stared at my ass as i walked to the car and lifted his eyebrows and licking his lips before getting in his truck and watching us drive away. I've been worried sick for months not knowing if we would have a place to stay or even how to deal with violet's lycanthropy and I'm just glad everything is finally falling into place so i don't gotta worry know more now i just have to get Ronan, out of my head.
