Chapter 1: The Overload
The world is loud.
It’s the clink of glass in the lab, the hum of the centrifuge, and the endless rows of data that I’m supposed to master. My life as a Medical Lab Science student is a world of precision—where every microliter counts and there is no room for "what if."
But inside, there’s a different kind of noise. It’s the sound of stories trying to breathe. It’s the weight of being "in between."
I look at the clock and I feel the overload. People see a student chasing a degree. I see a girl chasing a version of herself she hasn't met yet. I am starting from zero, and zero is a terrifying place to be when everyone else seems to be at a hundred.
Thank you for reading. This piece is a reflection of my real-life journey as a Med Lab student learning 2D animation. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
