The Beginning
Razel Salvatore, the princess of Scotland.
She always wished for freedom—but she never knew that one day, this very wish would lead her to death.
It was a cold, snowy day. White snow covered the land like a silent blanket. The world outside was calm and peaceful, yet inside the castle, chaos lived within the walls.
“Father, I told you a hundred times that I don’t want to marry anyone,” Razel said, her voice shaking as she argued with her father.
“And I also told you a hundred times that you have to marry him,” her father replied sternly. “He is a good man, the prince of the United States. He is perfect for you.”
“You always order me, Father,” Razel snapped, her eyes burning with frustration. “I always did everything you asked of me, but now this is my entire life! You never gave me freedom. You never let me step outside this castle. I have never seen the world beyond these walls.”
Her voice broke.
“You never cared about what I wanted.”
Silence filled the room.
“Enough,” her father said coldly. “You will marry him. That is my final decision.”
He turned away, stepped out of her chamber, and locked the door behind him.
“Father!” Razel ran to the door, pounding on it with her fists. “Open the door! Father!”
No answer.
Her breathing grew heavy. Tears streamed down her face as she slowly turned around—and that’s when she noticed the window.
Snowflakes drifted outside, dancing in the cold wind.
She walked toward it, her heart pounding painfully in her chest.
“You left me no choice,” she whispered, her voice trembling.
With one last look at the room she had been trapped in her entire life, Razel climbed out of the window, jumped down into the snow—and ran.
She didn’t look back.
