True Love

Kao Supassra, a top model, is trying her luck as an actress. Kao is nervous, but her manager assures her that this is a turning point in her career. If this film is successful, her career will skyrocket.

The manager brought a script, saying it was a popular adult GL genre. Kao accepted the script and began reading the storyline. The manager mentioned again that he would be paired with Jane Methika, a well-known senior actress. Kao gulped at the mention of her name, and the manager tried to reassure him that this was a golden opportunity.

The day of the meeting for the script reading. Kao arrived 10 minutes early, there he saw Jane Methika already sitting at the end of the room wearing a hoodie and glasses, looking calmly playing with her phone. For a split second their eyes met and looked at each other then Jane looked back at her phone. The producer came into the room explaining their roles in the adult GL series with intense scenes of physical touch and emotional connection. The producer suggested acting naturally without excessive improvisation because what was expected was that this series would explode not only because of the romance but also the artistic value in it. Kao glanced at Jane, she seemed to nod in agreement. They then did the script reading together professionally.

On the first day of filming, Jane arrived first. She was already dressed in costume and light makeup, as per the plot. Kao hurried into the makeup room to get ready. When she was done, as usual, she stared into the mirror, clasped her hands in front of her, and slowly closed her eyes, praying for the day to go smoothly. A voice suddenly made Kao open her eyes.

"Ritual before starting," said Jane, looking at Kao's reflection in the mirror with a smile.

Kao turned to look at him "Do you need help senior?"

"Just came to warn you not to make any mistakes because I'm too lazy to stay here for long," said Jane sarcastically and walked away from Kao.

Kao froze, her chest tightening at Jane's words. The senior actress was already intimidated on the first day of filming.

Filming went smoothly, although Kao had to hide his discomfort whenever Jane treated him like a worthless junior. Jane would always come up to him, say something sarcastic and leave without feeling guilty.

Kao held fast to her professionalism and thought this was only temporary, saying we'd be done with a few more episodes. At least that was Kao's strength to get through the filming process.

Take the first kiss scene in the script, at least this is also Kao's first kiss in real life and unfortunately it was done with an annoying woman instead of the person Kao thought he loved.

The producer instructed them to take it slow and follow their instincts. Kao simply nodded once, hoping it would be over soon.

Kao caught his breath and looked at Jane who was two steps in front of him. At a glance, Kao saw Jane smiling faintly, condescendingly, but Kao didn't want to worry about it.

All the crew got ready and "ACTION". Jane stepped closer quickly pushing Kao against the wall. One hand was on his hip and the other was holding Kao's nape. Wasn't her improvisation too much for a first kiss thought Kao. Kao's face turned red Shocked and confused. Her lips groaned unable to respond or reject the kiss and strangely the whole room froze no one stopped this scene. Kao's breath was panting, her face was hot making Jane deepen the kiss.

"CUT, okay good. Let's move on to the next scene" shouted the director.

Jane finally broke the kiss and looked at Kao.

"Could this really be your first? You should be proud that you kissed a superstar," she teased Kao and then walked away. "Damn, I'll get back at you later," Kao cursed.

The next scene continued smoothly, Kao trying not to look at Jane's face. It was clear that Kao wanted to curse the arrogant actress, but Kao had to hold back his feelings out of professionalism.

Filming was finally over for the day, and Kao sat in the makeup room for a while longer. She was utterly exhausted from dealing with Jane. Her phone vibrated for a moment.

"Come to the usual bar, you'll be surprised," came a notification from her friend, Tetris.

At 12 o'clock at night, Kao arrived at the bar, Tetris waved his hand.

"You're finally here, look over there," Tetris said towards the round table at the end of the bar.

Kao's eyes narrowed, trying to clear his vision. His heart was beating fast. Jane Methika was seen in a tight black dress, her hair loose, and there was a woman on her lap, they looked like they were flirting with each other.

"Tetris, am I seeing things correctly?" Kao said, stunned.

"No, that's obvious. Jane Methika is a regular visitor to this bar, she's quite popular and many women have their eyes on her. They even fight to sit on her lap," said Tetris casually.

Kao was silent listening to Tetris's words.

"I told you to come so you would be more careful, your opponent is a player," added Tetris while holding out a drink.

"I know Tetris, even he gave me enough trouble on set," Kao said while taking a sip of his drink.

Kao and Tetris became lost in conversation. He told her that his girlfriend would be arriving soon with her friend. Kao simply smiled in response.

"Please leave us," said p'prim to the woman in Jane's lap.

"P'prim" whined Jane

"Jane, how long will you be so immature and play with so many women?" asked p'prim

"We were just having fun," Jane answered defensively.

"Look at you, still making excuses. Jane, isn't that your opponent?" said P'Prim, pointing at the table, which made Jane turn her head.

"Innocent girl," said Jane spontaneously.

"It seems like you know him very well? What do you think he's like?" said P'Prim, fishing.

"Nothing special except her pretty face," said Jane.

"Are you interested?" said P'prim probingly.

"Oh, come on P'prim, just a newbie girl," Jane replied, sipping her drink.

"A beginner, yes, but enough to make the old players start approaching him." P'prim pointed towards Kao, who was approached by a woman. Jane began to observe Kao who was talking to a tall, slender woman who was familiar to Jane.

"P'mind," said Jane. She knew that P'mind was a successful artist and businessman who, if he had his eye on a girl, would definitely get her.

"Jealous?" teased p'prim

"No, we're just coworkers who don't get along," Jane answered calmly without taking her eyes off Kao's desk.

"Okay," P'Prim smiled as he walked away from Jane.

From a distance, Jane saw Kao walking towards the toilet. Jane, worried, stood up and followed Kao from behind. Jane entered the toilet, deliberately washing her hands, which were not dirty, while waiting for the one closed stall to open. After waiting for a while, the stall opened. Kao staggered and was about to fall. Luckily, Jane quickly pulled Kao's hand into her embrace. They stared at each other, Jane's heart beating fast.

"Jane," Kao said softly.

"How much did you drink to get like this?" Jane said indifferently.

Kao tried to free himself from Jane's embrace.

"Enough," Kao replied, walking away from Jane.

"I'm not finished talking yet," said Jane, pulling Kao's hand, making the owner of the hand fall into her arms again.

"Let go of me, let go of Jane," Kao whined, making her even cuter. Jane couldn't stand seeing Kao like that and finally kissed Kao's lips slowly but deeply.

"Jane..." Kao whispered as he stared at Jane. Kao's eyes were filled with tears as if he was feeling deep sorrow. Jane hugged him tightly, the defenses in his heart starting to crumble at the new girl in his arms.

"We're going home," Jane whispered in Kao's ear.

Jane's car sped through the night toward her apartment in downtown Bangkok. Beside her, Kao dozed off, occasionally muttering Jane's name.

"Even when you're sleeping, you're calling my name," Jane said, smiling in response to Kao's sleep talk.

They arrived at the apartment, Jane changed Kao's clothes and put him to bed in his room. After she was done, she was about to leave, but someone grabbed her hand tightly and pulled her, making her lose her balance and fall on top of Kao. Her heart was beating faster, trying to hold herself back.

"Don't go Jane" Kao whispered hoarsely and kissed Jane's lips.

Jane was stunned trying to digest the situation. Kao still kissed her slowly, his hands grabbed Jane's nape as if afraid Jane would let go of the kiss. Finally Jane returned the kiss, he started to insert his tongue exchanging saliva which made both of them out of breath. Their eyes looked at each other, Jane knew Kao was under the influence of alcohol. If they went too far Jane was afraid Kao would regret it the next day, however, Jane did not deny that Kao's teasing really affected her. Jane hugged Kao tightly, trying to calm her heart and passion. Kao fell asleep in her arms, the sound of soft snoring and a thin smile made Jane breathe a sigh of relief. Finally she was free from the teasing of the innocent-faced beginner.

Tomorrow

A soft sigh was heard, and Kao slowly opened his eyes. He blinked repeatedly, hoping he wasn't seeing things correctly. Jane's innocent face was the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes. Kao unconsciously caressed Jane's face, "Beautiful" was the word that came to his mind, accompanied by the rhythm of his fast beating heart.

"Are you awake?" Jane asked hoarsely, making Kao wake up from his reverie.

"Hmm," said Kao, lowering his face.

"Then, please let go of my hug. I can't move," Jane continued.

"S-sorry," Kao stammered.

Jane quickly got up and headed to the bathroom, not wanting Kao to see her nervousness. Kao was still sitting on the bed, seeing that her clothes had changed from the ones she had worn the night before. Her heart was pounding, her head ached. She couldn't fully remember what had happened last night. Jane came out of the bathroom.

"Take a shower, after breakfast I'll take you home," said Jane as she walked away from Kao. Kao grabbed Jane's hand, stopping her in her tracks.

"Nothing happened last night, right?" Kao asked, a little panicked.

Jane's eyebrow twitched, knowing this would happen. Disappointed but relieved, at least she hadn't seen her waver last night.

"Nothing," said Jane briefly, letting go of her hand.

I don't know why, but my heart felt tight, there was a pain that couldn't be explained when I heard Jane's words.

"What do you expect, Kao?" Kao muttered, walking towards Jane's bathroom.

Jane prepared a simple breakfast: toast, eggs, and juice. Kao walked over to Jane.

"The manager will pick me up soon," Kao said slowly.

"Oh, good. Eat first," Jane answered simply.

"Okay, thank you," said Kao.

They both had breakfast accompanied by their own thoughts without any sound.

"I will wash your clothes first before returning them," said Kao, looking at Jane.

"Just leave it with the manager," Jane replied briefly, walking away from Kao.

Kao stared at Jane's back, there was a tightness that couldn't be expressed.

Two days later on the set

Jane was busy filming scenes with the crew, while Kao watched her from a distance. They hadn't spoken since the incident at Jane's house. Jane seemed to be keeping her distance, no longer speaking harshly or insulting Kao, but that only made Kao more confused. What had changed Jane? The question kept echoing.

It was time for Kao's scene with Jane, a romantic scene in the car. The crew prepared, and the producer reminded them to be natural and not hold back their emotions.

The atmosphere in the car was silent, only the sound of their heartbeats.

"I love you Jane," said Kao starting the dialogue.

"We can't be together, Kao, there are too many differences," said Jane according to the script.

"Then what was the meaning of last night? A game?" Kao said, his eyes filled with tears.

Jane knew it wasn't in the script, and she stared silently into Kao's eyes. Kao moved quickly, kissing Jane's lips briefly and slowly looking into her eyes. It was also clearly not in Jane's inner script. The entire crew fell silent, as if they knew there was an outpouring of emotion being held back by the two actresses.

Kao moved now he was sitting on Jane's lap, his hands hanging on Jane's shoulders.

"Stop me if you don't like it" Kao whispered softly.

Kao started his kiss slowly but heatedly, Jane closed her eyes without realizing opening her lips, Kao played his tongue exchanging saliva with Jane. The entire staff was choked, silent watching the scene.

"CUT, okay good! We'll take a 15 minute break" said the director breaking the silence.

Kao broke the kiss, opened his eyes to look at Jane.

"Are you enjoying it? Aren't players supposed to get too lost in the game?" Kao whispered, making Jane emotional.

"Are you testing me?" Jane firmly gripped Kao's hand. Kao just smiled, let go of her hand, and left Jane.

"She obviously remembers what happened that night," Jane whispered.
