Summary

STILLE NACHT The world didn't end with a bang; it ended with a suffocating, violet-hued silence. When the C-60 virus escaped Lab 23, it rewrote the laws of survival. The infected, known as Walkers, possess hearing magnified ten times over, turning San Francisco into a massive acoustic trap. In this new reality, a dropped key is a death warrant, and a panicked scream is a dinner bell for a thousand nightmares. THE SANCTUARY IS A SIEGE. Hidden in George Washington High, three hundred survivors live like ghosts. They move in wool socks and speak in desperate hand signals, praying the wind doesn't carry the scent of their fear. But when a catastrophic mistake shatters the peace, the school becomes a slaughterhouse. The exit is blocked by a horde that moves with the grace of shadows and the hunger of a void. THE SONG IS BEGINNING. As the narrator escapes into the fog, they realize the horror is deeper than a viral outbreak. The Walkers are forming a "Choir," a biological network using the city’s architecture to broadcast a frequency that can command human bone and marrow. From the Salesforce Tower, a signal is being sent—not to survivors, but to something ancient waiting in space. THE FINAL HARMONY. Across twenty chapters of escalating dread, follow a journey where the ultimate question remains: When the stars sing the lullaby of your extinction, do you fight for the noise of life, or surrender to the perfect, silent night?

The Day It Began

It all began in that laboratory, in lab 23. That virus had to get out, didn’t it. You probably don’t know what I am talking about. 5 days ago , a virus had been found by scientists in Antarctica. But yesterday, this virus, was tested on a subject, subject D - 234. They were just trying to see the results on a human, but it turned out to be something more horrifying and macabre then they had ever imagined. This virus, coined the C - 60, turned people into horrifying creatures, called walkers.

These walkers were stronger than the average human, with their olfactory and auditory senses increased tenfold. Their metabolism had slowed down considerably, with the ability to survive without nourishment for 15 years. They only seemed to have one goal, to make more of them. They accomplished this through their saliva mixing with the blood of non - infected people.

Dr. William Robinson had been working with D- 234, when D - 234 started breaking the glass container holding him. Boom, as soon as the fragile glass shattered into a million pieces on the floor , D - 234 pounced upon Dr. Robinson , and started mauling him by biting him on the chest, head and arms. Soon, in no less than 5 minutes, Dr. William Robinson became a walker. Soon , within three whole hours, slowly, the whole building, became infected with walkers.

But the U.S military had been informed. Armored cars, armed personnel, helicopters, and the Special Forces surrounded the building. But, as the doors banged open, no number of gunshots could take down the horde of walkers that did the onslaught. The entirety of San Francisco soon became a desolate land, with nothing but a few survivors in a school building.
