His Silence Her Storm

Summary

“Siddharth…” He didn’t say anything. Just walked toward me. His eyes were darker than night—intense, unreadable. Hungry. “I shouldn’t have come,” I whispered, my voice shaky. “This is not—” His hands circle my wrist pulling me behind the water tank, where the fading light wouldn’t betray us. "You like the way they look at you, don’t you?" Before I could answer, he shoved me against the wall, his body pinning mine. The rough concrete scraped my back, but the sting was nothing compared to the fire in his eyes. His eyes looked dark and dangerous. His mouth crashed into mine, claiming, punishing. I gasped, and he took it as invitation, his tongue sliding against mine with a possessiveness that left me dizzy. His hands were everywhere—tugging at my clothes, gripping my waist hard enough to bruise. I whimpered as his fingers slipped under my skirt, rough and impatient. ..................... Pranati had always crushed over Shravan, her carefree cousin since she was in 7th grade. But everything changed the day Siddharth, his older brother, stepped into her life. Torn between her past with Shravan and her growing connection with Siddharth, Pranati found herself trapped. Who would claim her heart? Chapter 1

Pranati Rao

At twenty-three, Pranati is the kind of woman who doesn’t walk into a room to be noticed—but somehow, she always is. With her waist-length straight black hair and eyes that hold entire monsoons, she’s a blend of serenity and silent strength. Raised in a close-knit Telugu family, she grew up shielded, adored, and often overlooked emotionally. Beneath her gentle demeanor is a girl who once clung to a childhood crush on her cousin Shravan, convincing herself that love was supposed to feel like butterflies in the belly.

Siddharth Reddy

Siddharth is not the kind of man you fall for immediately. He’s the kind that sneaks into your heart, quietly and deeply. At thirty, he has built a life of quiet control—managing a successful hotel in Dubai, bearing the weight of being the eldest son, and never letting emotions get the better of him.

Shravan Reddy

Shravan has always been the boy who made everyone smile. With a mischievous glint in his eye and an easy laugh, he charmed hearts without even trying. Growing up, he was the center of attention—especially Pranati’s. Her seventh-grade crush on him was innocent and persistent.

Sakshi Arora

Sakshi is Pranati’s firebrand of a best friend—the kind of woman who’d argue with the gods if they dared make her girl cry. A successful advocate with a no-nonsense attitude, she’s been Pranati’s shield since childhood. Taller and louder, Sakshi has always been the voice when Pranati stayed silent. She never liked Shravan, never trusted his charm, and when Pranati confessed her heartbreak, Sakshi was the one who reminded her that she deserved better.
