What is your opinion?

Wholesome

"NGL, when I read the title of the story as 'Buried Alive' and saw a pregnant woman on the cover, I was expecting it to get sad, dark and brutally painful, maybe depressing, but as they say never judge a book by it's cover and title. The first chapter did bring sadness and tackled depressing parts with revelation of Jane unable to have kids because of Asherman's Syndrome, and the unfortunate and untimely death of the main protagonist Niallee's brother Max and his wife Jane, and reading those particular scene I have to admit the author, Jess tackled both those part with sensitivity and emotions. After the first chapter thing only got rather more wholesome, and on a few occasion a little bit infuriating with the other protagonist, Lincoln. Lincoln had a good backstory as well, why he was like that initially when he judged Niallee to soon without knowing her. Lynn was also a wonderful supporting character, like a big sister to Nia, I really loved her interactions with Nia, especially when she called out Lincoln on his assholeness. What I absolutely enjoyed in this story was the way things started to change around after the first few chapters, the way the relationship changed between Nia and Linc, I adored those funny but adorable moments when Nia struggled to do certain things during her third trimester and Lincoln was there to help her. Epilogue was beautifully written, and it was absolutely wholesome!"

Burned Alive

"I loved the story but could have done without Lincoln getting back with his terrible ex for a few weeks. Wish there was another bonus chapter with the characters in the future with more kids of their own. "

Heartwarming

"I am continually blown away by your stories. Nia and Linc each had past heartbreak to fight through and in the end they found each other. I was laughing and crying through the whole book. I still think you should try your hand at a longer novel."

Short and sweet but beautiful

"Beautifully written, raw and very sweet. I loved this story. Sad to start out with, fast paced but done so well. I love how Nia made such a beautiful friend in Lynn, no conscious just immense love and support. And that Linc sorted out his nonsense with his ex to realize what he was missing out on all along with Nia. Very sweet story. "

Buried Alive

"Great story. It had me crying quite a few times. Lincoln was exactly as described in the summary at first. Luckily, he got his act together before it was too late. I look forward to reading more books from the author "

"Why did you have to include such a huge age gap? Up until the final chapters, the dynamic felt more like a father-daughter bond than a romance. It felt really strange when it suddenly turned into a love story. The story could have been so good, actually. It’s a shame. We are commenting based on having read your book. The age gap between you and your spouse does not make such a gap a prerequisite for love. Furthermore, until the final four chapters, you did not portray a romantic relationship; instead, you depicted the persona of an older brother getting annoyed with his two younger siblings or a father bickering with his daughters. Rather than trying to refute criticisms, try looking at your book from a different perspective. Not everyone is obliged to write comments saying, "Oh, what a perfect book.""
