The characters operate like professionals, not action movie clichés, and that makes every scene hit harder. There’s also a deeper layer running underneath everything. Ancient texts, hidden knowledge, and a slow realization that this isn’t just about isolated incidents... it’s about something much larger being uncovered piece by piece. If you’re into stories that mix conspiracy, religion, and covert operations with a cinematic edge, this one delivers. It reads like a high-level intelligence briefing crossed with a thriller you can’t put down. Definitely a series worth getting into early, looking forward to reading more."
Confusing Vatican conspiracy
"I like to read about conspiracies - especially if the Vatican is involved - so I enjoyed reading the 'Entity Protocol'. The main characters - Matteo, Rinaldi, Dante, Isabella - were all interesting types that added value to the story and served as 'landmark' in this otherwise confusing narrative. I'm still not sure about the plot, about the bad guy Richter (who is he? what is his plan? what does he want?), and the drug (?)/ artifact/ knowledge/ scripture or whatever is it exactly the guys are trying to retrieve. There are also the Custodes - maybe I'm just not aware of who they are, therefore my apologies - but a little background information is needed to understand what their purpuse is. As the purpose of Matteo (his background and why his relationship with Rinaldi and others is so tense) and his team members. About the style. In my opinion, if there are no spelling mistakes and the tale has a logical structure, then the story is already good. But as I mentioned before, many things - mostly important details - were confusing because they were explained poorly. AL"
