"This was a great 2 book read. The story line was great. I hope you write more with this character. She has a whole world to battle and learn about. I loved how you brought in different beliefs and was as close to authentic as possible . I am absolutely loving it . "

"This novel was amazing. I absolutely love the characters, the use of Native customs, and the reality of the situations that Jolie finds herself in. It's amazing. I am an avid reader and rarely find a book these days that keeps me in its clutches where I can not wait to get back to reading it. I can't wait for more from this Author. 5 stars all the way!"

"For some reason I didn't write a review on the first one. And I'm lazy to go back and do it. So herewith a review on both books. This author has a unique talent of blending the narrative and the descriptive in a manner that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats. I do not know much about the cultures of which she writes but I sense it is done with a rare amount of respect and creative license. I feel so angry and afraid of what is going to happen with her now that her Mom is no longer her anchor. Very well balanced book with enough of the unknown to get us on the edge of our seats for the next book. "
