Chapter 1
In a world where shadows linger,
Prejudice dances, a ghostly singer.
It whispers in corners, it lurks in the light,
Casting bad vibes that dim the bright.
"Look at them," it sneers with a sneaky grin,
Judging the surface, where do we begin?
With labels and boxes, we draw our own lines,
Ignoring the beauty that diversity finds.
Each person a story, a journey untold,
Yet we choose to be blind, to be bitter and cold.
We judge by the color, the clothes that they wear,
Not seeing the heart that beats with a care.
Bad vibes are contagious; they spread like a fire,
Fueling the anger, igniting desire.
But what if we paused, took a moment to see?
The richness of life in our shared humanity.
Imagine a world where we open our arms,
Where kindness is currency and love has its charms.
Let’s shatter the silence that prejudice brings,
And dance to the rhythm of acceptance that sings.
So here’s my plea in this monologue rhyme:
Let’s rise above judgment; let’s give love some time.
For every bad vibe that tries to divide,
There’s a spark of connection where hope can reside.
