Varkaal is governed by a single doctrine: strength is law. It acknowledges no civil statutes, no universal rights, no lasting accords. Its social order bends only to biological hierarchy, where power is never granted — it is taken.
Within Varkaal’s borders, omegas do not exist. Their disappearance was not the work of nature, but the result of a calculated eradication carried out by the beta caste in earlier eras. The objective was clear: the slow extinction of alphas through the elimination of their reproductive counterpart. The operation succeeded.
Alpha birthrates now hover at critical thresholds.
Each new alpha strengthens the State’s violent foundation —
while accelerating the instability that threatens to fracture it.
Following the purge of the omegas, the beta population was condemned for biological treason. The sentence imposed was hereditary enslavement. In Varkaal, guilt neither fades nor absolves. It is inherited.
Beta women occupy the lowest tier of the hierarchy.
They are not recognized as citizens.
They are not recognized as persons.
They are classified as functional assets, deployed at alpha discretion. Their will is neither acknowledged nor recorded.
Sustained coexistence among alphas is deemed structurally impossible. The caste’s inherent territorial aggression fractures any attempt at durable collective order. Alliances decay. Conflict endures.
At the heart of the State lies Old Ashkar, designated the Primordial State. Its authority predates Varkaal itself and remains untouched by national law. Old Ashkar is ruled by the Primordial Alpha, whose legitimacy stems not from appointment or succession — but from existence.
Beyond sealed borders stretches the State of Magnor, a sovereign human nation. Magnor operates under a regime of economic coercion. The debt of existence is assigned at birth, binding every measure of freedom. Default leads to exile — or death.
Varkaal and Magnor maintain no diplomatic, biological, or cultural relations. No treaties bind them. No sanctioned exchanges occur. For centuries, no direct armed conflict has been recorded between the two States, each crippled by the structural impossibility of sustaining prolonged war.
Varkaal cannot unify without devouring itself.
Magnor cannot trust without splintering.
The present equilibrium survives through mutual exhaustion.
