“I am a girl made from blood, pain, and darkness. I am the damned, the tortured, and the traumatized. I am a weapon made from the furnace of hell itself, ready to be unleashed on the world.” “In three years, when my name is uttered, a hush will fall upon everybody’s head, and the stench of fear will reek so fucking bad it will leave a trail. A trail that will lead me to my victims. In three years, I was going to be more than an assassin, I will be the Death Note. Taking back the power that was taken away from me and wielding it so expertly, the world’s underbelly will tremble at my feet.” These were the thoughts I had, the dream I have had every day since I came into my new life. This was my life’s mission, my life’s purpose, and the reason I got into the school in the first place. This was all, before I met him. The man who threatened to unmake me, remake me, and completely own me. Not just my body and heart. But my mind and soul. There was no escaping him. This story contains themes of violence, dubious consent element, murder, death, obsession, weapons/gun use, criminal activities, organized crime themes, morally grey characters, mild stalking, strong language, age gap, adult content. While nothing is graphic in this installment, later books in the series will explore darker elements in more details.

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
