The perfect Evening ✨
"I hate train journeys" Trisha muttered underneath.. Rakshita (the Younger witch) and Shivm (Troublemaker) were arguing about who would take the window seat... Actually Testing her patients Level the worst place.. a Railway station in India isn't the cleanest place you can find.. still middle class people struggle... Need to tolerate the disgusting platform and the smelly and dirty Toilet ahead she was making herself prepared for that..
Her Mother,(Lakshmi Mishra) sitting on the common Seat and was the victim of headache..
But these idiots can never understand that they argued and now she can't control she bursted out in anger," Rakshita Mishra... Please stop Fight with an idiot like an Idiot, And you Mr Shivm can you please favour me by sitting still" She snapped..
"Trisha, Misbehave... Kitni baar samjhaya hai tameez se baat karni chahiye..." Her Father, in a thunder calm tone, (Dr. Damodar Mishra)A middle aged man who went to bring sweets and bottles before appeared out of somewhere and Accused her... maybe because she exists... Crises of being older..
They entered the Train... As though disgusting all disgusting according to her and even cockroaches...
Siblings fighting for window.. and Trisha comfortably seated...she was in emerald green kurti leggings and a sraf hugging around her neck
The train journeys were absolutely ridiculous, she hated them and now two were making it worse so ... Better she slept so she climbed the berth up and Tried sleeping but the moment of the train and random noise of vendors and babies..
I hate babies.. i won't have one
She thought, While a baby Cried in another compartment..
Now Some time later it was dinner time Trihsa was Called back and she has to sit there..
Then Her mother gave her puri and chutney, She ate quietly as she was done with the chaos and lifting and Settling bags...
He Mother." Aree, Sahi se tho kaho, Aur khane ke baad ek ek kar ke haath dhone jana"
Then she took Shivm with her... To clean up
Later, after the mother arrived back Trihsa and Rashita were taken by their Father
After coming back to the seat ... She directly went to her seat but wasn't able to rest, so she took her diary out..
The one she hasn't started the one she decided to write her poems in.
The Train
A lonely train crawls through the night, her weary heart inside,
Each station steals a piece of hope she once held with pride.
The tracks are tangled like her fate, where broken wishes lie,
Dark windows mirror silent tears she's far too tired to cry.
She longs for one last station where this aching tale can end-
For Some stories lose their light before the night can mend.
She closed the Journel
and kept it back in the bag... Thinking
one day maybe I will stop thinking like this.. Maybe I will truly love and accept myself and not judge...
She closed eyes and sleep caught her.
Morning around nine, she woke up, and her family was already up, snacking, vendors screaming while selling their product, and some beggars begging for money..
After her eyes fluttered and open She peeped down...
Rakshita," Ma, Hum sab kab pohchenge, Mujhe Naina didi se baat karni hai"
While Shivm was busy playing with their mothers mobile..
"Jaldi Ajj shaam tak pohoch jayenge" she replied firmly..
Trihsa slowly reached the seat...
"Ma, Brush karna ha chalo" she said while still sleepy..
"didi abhi bhi so rahi hai, very bad" Rakshita joked
And received a glare from Trihsa... Shivm and their father are still unbothered About conversation...
Later during lunch There father Ordered online
Jeera rice, Panner do payaza and Rabadi
She was already relaxed by now... And Making snaps for her brothers who were waiting for her at their nanihal (Meternal grandparents house)
She looked Outside the glass window...
Hmm so Upnaynan... I guess I will meet neha after 2 days, and Ya, I have to handle these troubles...
(She looked at her siblings)
Well they will enjoy troubling me..they always do..
(eyes back to the window)
well somedays enjoyment and peace and then....
back at the problem...
She sighed.. and took the cookies...and chips...
Shivm,"Trisha!..Mujhe de!"
"Didi kha gya?, tameez se baat kar samjha!" She replied giving him the whole pack as she knew... Once he touches a pack it's his...
She was back at the window and then she stood up and took her notebook out and a pencil... And started sketching...or writing something...
Tonight I travel not just across land, but across the spaces inside me
Tomorrow, I will arrive.
And maybe, just maybe, the world will tilt a little.
The night feels heavy and full.
The train carries hundreds of people, yet I feel alone with my thoughts.
I wonder what awaits me in Bihar. Cousins, laughter, chaos... and maybe something else I do not know yet.
Some hours passed peacefully without any intentional fights or conflicts...
After lunch... All were trying to rest...
Hours passed, eating chatting, watching stories on the phone... And evening arrived...
Then came Samastipur Station...
They load off the train...
And then Came Outside the station..
A black scorpio was waiting outside for them with There (mothers brother) Mama (Hari Chaudhri)
They Sat in the car and loaded the luggage, The car moved slowly in the streets... It was a day after the sarswati puja .... Streets were still decorated... And Still looked devoted.
She rested her head on the edge of the Window,
Now 14 days.. Cousins, Celebration... And Me, Witnessing this Upnaynan.... First time... Yeah really excited ... But I don't think... Mitthi will have time. For me.... She is The Neha the topper... Surrounded by people why would she notice me.... Still she is my Mithi maybe she will
Maybe I can think...
No Trihsa... It's not for you .. you don't deserve that. Forget it ... Please...
She sighed....
A few Hours later.. Reached...a village Baaith in Chandapura.... In Madhubani,
And in minutes they reach the
House that Still Remember Little Trisha's Words her laughter... Her cies.. her love, The place where she was born... Her Nanihal...
She smiled as.. Her Cousins, Her Mosi (Mothers Sisters), Her Mami (Mama's wife, Sudha Chaudhari)
Her Cousins,
One in orange Kurti Scarf balanced between ne Sholder to other eyes carried warmth and care, looked like in her mid 20's... "Trihsa...!"
Trihsa bows and touches her feet and takes her blessings
"La de!"
Well let, me introduce the Cousins...
Eldest, Meera Di, soft-spoken, hugging Trisha a little longer than necessary, (The orange Kurti )
Kabir bhaiya, tall, sarcastic, pretending not to care but smiling anyway, (The most handsome in all) stood near the car Bags in hand (the younger)
Ishaan Bhaiya, teasing and Testing, already teasing Rakshita, While approaching her luggage (Elder)
Kabir and ishaan were Twins but Not identical, also Merra Di is their Elder Sister, and They all are kids of Trisha's Badi Mosi's.(Parvati Jha)
Then in row,
Rudra ,younger, curious, tugging at Shivm's sleeve.
Little Anushka's, younger, dramatic, already judging Trisha's outfit.
The Chaotic Siblings... The youngest ones... And Kids to Mama (Hari Chaudhari)
Then Him
Harsh, The second eldest... And Over proud and Always Roten Tomato, on her
Son of the Eldest Mama. (Ram Chaudhari)
Then They stepped in and a really old lady in a plain golden white saree, her frail body wrapped in quiet simplicity
Her back bends forward with age, as if carrying years of untold stories.
Each slow step she takes feels heavy with a lifetime of love, loss, and endurance.
She was nani... Her nani,
"Aree, Kitna bada ho gya Shivm...Aaja nani ke pass" she called in her Soft, trembling voice
Shivm rushed," Nani Ma!!" and hugged her at his height he could hardly reach her thighs...
All then steeped in the house was as usual the smell of flowers chandan and purity, that place could be called as second heaven it was not just a place for her it had hundred memories... The joyful memories, laughing, playing, fighting and cute memories
I love this place
she thought, eye showing that affection and then went on asora (The Varanda that connected the other rooms) then all the Members who just arrived went inside bhagwati ghar (Praying room) to take blessings and thank for a safe journey.
Some Time later, after freshening and chilling a bit, it was almost night the moon was visible as all elder cousins were in the dalan (The porch area in front of the house)
there was a lake in front, cold breezes were passing and with the brothers and Meera Di Trisha sat on the Charpoy they started talking, all wrapped in winter cardigans and Shawl
The talk was mainly about the Upnaynan ceremony where in the Brahman community, when a boy turns in age where he can start studying at (7'yr - 14'yrs) this ceremony is performed and the boy is blessed and officially from a Batuk, becomes a Brahmin..
And Suddenly Kabir added" Vese, yeh sab thik hai humara bhi hua hai kyuki isliye pehle koi bhi shadi nahi kar sakta,"
Harsh eyes moved towards Trisha, "Aur Trihsa Bata kya padhai chal rahi hai" asked in a taunting tone
Trisha who was quiet till now as she was new to all this replied after a couple seconds of silence," Ha, PCM liya hai achi chal rahi hai Padhai"
Before Harsh could taunt or slightly humiliate her..
" Hmm, Tho shadi kese ladke s karne ki soch raho madam?" Meera di asked in a Teasing tone.
"Didi, Firstly mei Underaged hu dusra ki honi tho arrange marriage hi hai, and tishri baat ki ap badi, tho ap kab mithai khilao gi shaadi ki?" She answered with confidence
Kabir coughed and exchanged a look with Ishaan like 'Ya she grew up'
Then in dinner Her nani cooked their favourite dishes and when the food was served it had Tilkora Tarua, Bhaat, Dal, sajman ke tarari, bhujiya, sag, papad, Dahi, Achhar for them...
After the last meal Trihsa was meant to sleep with Meera di, as she used to, Meera di was setting the bed and Adjusting Macchardani, While Trihsa sat on bed legs folded... In her night kurta and pajamas Thinking,
Kese ladke se shaadi?, No not ever Boys are useless they use girls and throw them like toys I just wanna live my life stay alive and enjoy it no boys ever...
Yes, She is Trihsa.. The Girl who thinks that love is Only Toxic only knows how to take not to give... The Girl who forgets to love herself many times, Now learning it.. and This is when Shiv ji chose the time to hand her what was always hers....
