JOURNAL ENTRY #1
My name is Ellis Belle Calder, and I’ve wanted to die for fifteen years. Since I came out of the womb, my parents knew there was something seriously wrong with me. Maybe that’s why they left me on my sister’s doorstep and died in a car crash just days after my birth.
I don’t blame them, though. I know there’s something wrong with me, too.
Freya suggested I write stuff in a journal to express my feelings more since my last attempt, so here I am. Although I don’t see the point of this, but she’s the medical expert, apparently, so I’m supposed to do whatever she says, even if it’s stupid.
I don’t really know what to write here. I’ve never been comfortable doing stuff like this, but I guess it’s better than therapy. Anything’s better than therapy.
I’ve asked Freya for ideas on what to write, and she proposed talking about what my greatest wish was (that didn’t involve anything bad, of course). So, after very little thought, I can only wish for one thing.
That the world would end.
(And hey, it’s not my fault she didn’t specify what stuff is classified as ‘bad’)
