Dear Friend,

On 18 April 2031, Adam Richwood, the world-famous child actor of his day, was found dead in his room at his parents’ apartment. Reports tell that he had committed suicide by hanging. A note was found on his bed. It said:

“Do not remember me for what I did. Remember me for who I was.”

— Adam Richwood

His family insists he was not the type to commit suicide. He wrote poems, was interested in science and philosophy, and so much more. Yet it is clear that Richwood was hiding something. The first clue: on the nights of 17 and 18 April, he was scheduled to attend the wedding of his close friend, Richard Arkthrone.

The strange part is that the news does not mention this, even though it was disclosed three months ago. In fact, on his social media, Arkthrone has posted pictures from his wedding—but made no comment on his friend’s death. Something is wrong.

I always admired Richwood—a lot. My whole childhood went away watching him play that nerdy character on The Polymath. That’s why I must get justice for my invested time. I am going to find the truth about Richwood’s death.

I know I am too young for this… but I have to try. School ends in two months, which means that even if I have to go to LA, I can apply for college there and continue my search. People will call me crazy, arrogant, immature—I know—but I think I can find the reason behind Richwood’s death. Are these my hormones speaking? Maybe. But I know I want to do this, so I will.

I will keep you informed about what happens next. I might even have to write more than once sometimes.

One news website has described his death as “Abscission,” which actually suggests that the company knows something about Richwood that maybe not everyone does. We’ll see.
