Summary

The grand ocean palace shimmered like a living jewel beneath the waves as all the mermaids gathered beside Tara. Pearls glowed along the marble corridors, and the currents themselves seemed to whisper of destiny. In Tara’s trembling hands stood her young son, Dhruv — only ten years old, yet carrying a presence far greater than his years.

Chapter 1

Khushi placed her glowing palm upon Dhruv’s head, transferring the power of joy and healing. Bijdhar raised her hands, and streaks of lightning-blue energy flowed into him. Jawala’s fiery aura wrapped around the boy like a blazing shield. The palace trembled softly as ancient magic awakened.

Then the Maharani, radiant and commanding, spoke in a voice that echoed through the ocean halls:

“From this day forward, Dhruv, you are not only the protector of this sea… but the guardian of Earth and the entire universe.”

The words struck Tara’s heart like a storm.

“He is only ten!” Tara cried, her voice breaking. “How can he fight Sarvnasni and her ruthless commander? He is just a child…”

Khushi bowed her head gently. “Maharani… Dhruv is still very young.”

But the Queen’s eyes shone with unshakable wisdom.

“Tara,” she said firmly, “do not let a mother’s fear cloud destiny. Dhruv was born under the prophecy of light. His birth was not ordinary. He is the one destined to end darkness.”

Suddenly—

A piercing siren roared across the palace. The glowing walls flickered red. The water currents turned violent.

Bijdhar narrowed her eyes. “Someone is trying to breach the palace barrier.”

Jawala’s flames flared brighter. “It can only be Sarvnasni.”

Beyond the palace walls, wrapped in shadows darker than the deepest trench, Sarvnasni stood, her fury shaking the ocean floor. She tried to force her way inside, but the ancient protective shield repelled her again and again. Her scream echoed like thunder underwater.

Inside, the Maharani spoke urgently, “Sarvnasni has not yet seen Dhruv’s face. If she does, she will hunt him endlessly. We must send him to Earth. There, he will remain hidden.”

Tara stepped back as if the ground beneath her had disappeared.

“Earth? Away from me? He is still a child… How will he live without his mother?”

The Maharani gently called, “Dhruv, come here.”

The young boy walked forward, innocence shining in his eyes despite the storm around him.

“Would you like to go to Earth?” the Queen asked softly.

Dhruv’s face lit up with excitement. “Of course! I’ve heard humans make the most delicious food. I want to taste everything!” he said with a playful grin.

For a brief moment, even in the shadow of destiny, the palace filled with warmth.

The Maharani turned to Tara. “Do not worry. Love is stronger than distance. Dhruv will return to see you every day. This separation is not an end… it is the beginning of his journey.”

Far away in the crushing darkness of the ocean’s deepest abyss, Sarvnasni clenched her fists, her rage boiling like volcanic fire. Unable to enter the palace, she retreated into the black depths, her red eyes glowing with vengeance.

The ocean grew silent.

And thus began the legend of Dhruv — the child of the sea, destined to protect worlds.
