An Epic Conclusion...For Now.
"Volume 3 of Child of the Moon was truly a masterpiece! Here's why: 1. Beverly had to reliquish everything she knew about being a warrior, and then a leader, in order to accomplish her ultimate goal. This is a huge portion of her journey as she is still young and had to rush much of her missions. Taking the time to reevaluate things is a defining human trait. 2. Magnus's goals and eventual downfall was well-written. The evil, conniving father, whose greed led him to the depths of darkness, and then to death. Prior to this, we finally learned everything that he had planned, including his emotional bribery of Beverly. 3. Evelyn was brought to jutice- properly! Taking someone's life doesn't fix the problem, but by making them a social example through exile and humiliation will. At least for now. After everything that she did to Beverly and the people she loves, her desserts were served ice cold. 4. We saw Beverly become the hero, and incredible woman, we all know she is! After succumbing to much pain, loss, and suffering, Beverly used her feelings as fuel for her mission: to ensure the safety of her people- all of them. Yes, it's sad that she lost so much in the process, however, given the circumstances, it's understandable. I will be keeping my eye on you, Kleopetra, for any updates regarding the future of Beverly Awoo!!"
