"True to what the blurb had promised, The Photographer's Apprentice was a gripping, nail-biting, hair-pulling novel with chock full of suspense, thriller and intrigue that could make readers release a breath they didn't know they were holding! The plot was, for the most part, strong but the much-anticipated ending wasn't what I'd hoped for. I was expecting there to be a justified, action-packed showdown. Instead, after all that maddening heck of a chase, the last and most important part of the story culminated into a lackadaisical scene. Book characters wise, I'd say Quiet Walker was my favourite person of the entire book! He may be quiet, but he's got all the action going and despite playing a small role, he was no less pivotal in getting the story to move. I bet if the author were to write a story about him, it'll be just as good as this one."
