Summary

In an empire where silk hides hypocrisy and marble silences raw truths, Ilianor Aradia is an anomaly. What no one suspects is that beneath the appearance of the "Iron Lady" hides Diana, a woman of our time—an expert in resources and survival who has awakened in a young body within a hostile and decaying world. While the nobility loses itself in games of appearances, Ilianor uses her logic and engineering knowledge to audit the souls of those around her. She does not seek the throne, for she knows that power is just another form of captivity, and she has already learned to fly. However, fate has other plans when the King himself issues an edict that positions her as the candidate for Crown Princess. Trapped between duty and her own instincts, Ilianor must navigate a dangerous love triangle with two princes who challenge her control. From stolen kisses in the shadows of the hippodrome to secret passions that defy imperial protocol, she will discover that although people with nothing to hide do not fear the wind, in the Palace of Asghar, love is the most dangerous risk of all. "Under the embers of fate, a flame is tempered and gives shape to its splendor, turning a stone into a beautiful, priceless jewel."

The Captive Bird and the Crown: The Empire of Eleanor

1. The Conflict: The Golden Cage

In the Kingdom of Asghar, freedom is not measured in kilometers, but in secrets. Eleanor Aradia de Selene is the “Captive Bird”: a woman of extraordinary sensitivity trapped within the Crown—a structure of cold laws and immovable traditions. 2. The Protagonist: Eleanor Aradia de Selene

At 18 years old, Eleanor is the invisible axis of the kingdom. She possesses the calm and patience of one who knows that true power does not shout, but observes. Beneath the appearance of just another noblewoman, hides the Head of the Intelligence Sector.

3. The Fan of Shadows (Technology and Defense)

Eleanor’s fan is her most personal and lethal tool. An object of beauty that conceals an engineering of death and communication.

4. Innovations: The Information Revolution

Eleanor does not just spy; she transforms the world. Her inventions seek to break the monopoly on knowledge.

Her long, straight blonde hair was tied in a high ponytail, green eyes, oval face; she is beautiful and elegant like a flower, and one of the best female warriors under the duke’s command. She was not just a pretty face and an extraordinary warrior; she was Ilianor’s personal guard.

Casidi, Eleanor's personal secretary, 20 years old—the abandoned daughter of a viscount—wore blue clothes like those of the duchy’s knights, but with a long skirt, and instead of a sword, she had an agenda in her hand and a pen. She wore thin gold-framed glasses, small and elegant, with a gold chain with pink pearls on both sides of the temples; it is a gift she received from Ilianor a few weeks ago for her birthday, along with pink pearl earrings wrapped in lily petals. Her brown hair tied in a beautiful bun gave her a sophisticated look, with black eyes.

Deméter—Lady Deméter of Ravenel, 20 years old, the personal maid, daughter of a fallen count, a plump but not fat girl, beautiful, with fire-red hair and adorable freckles on her face; her green eyes were constantly looking for some gossip to tell her lady. Author’s Note (Moonlight Fenix)

Hello everyone! Welcome to the birth of a new story. I want to share some important details about this book with you:

A Connected Series: This is the second part of my series. Although it seems like a completely different world, both books share a common thread—a “common point” that you will only understand at the end of each chapter. Pay close attention to the details!

Art and Aesthetics: All the images accompanying the text have been created in collaboration with Gemini and meticulously retouched by me in Photoshop. Each illustration belongs exclusively to this book and is designed so you can see exactly what I see.

Creative Collaboration: Gemini not only supports me with style and grammar corrections but also enlightens me on the complex protocol and etiquette of high society, so that the Kingdom of Asghar feels real and sophisticated.

Exclusive Publication: Unlike my other works, this book is only published here. You are the first and only ones to discover Ilianor’s secrets for the time being.

I hope you enjoy this blend of intrigue, etiquette, and “cold logic” at court. Welcome to the Duchy of Aradia!
