A huge thank you to Ruin Saint for bringing The Mafia’s Angel to life with its official soundtrack. Visit the website link in my profile to access the playlist and experience the music alongside every chapter.

Nico (Niccolò) is a self-made billionaire whose influence stretches far beyond legitimate business. Born and raised in Italy, he built his empire from the ground up, earning his reputation through calculated intelligence, ruthless discipline, and control.
After cementing his dominance overseas, he relocated his operations to New York City, where wealth, power, and anonymity intersect. Publicly, he is known as an elusive entrepreneur, luxury hotel owner, and high-end restaurateur. Privately, he commands an empire rooted in loyalty, fear, and carefully enforced order.
Nico trusts few and forgets nothing. Everything he has was earned, and he protects it accordingly.

Alessia (Alessandra) grew up wrapped in wealth and protection, raised by a powerful father and a stepmother who believed the world could be kept clean if you never looked too closely. Sheltered from the dark world, she was taught that danger was something that happened to other people far away, in stories, never in real life. The mafia, to her, was nothing more than a myth. A dramatic exaggeration.
Book-smart and academically at the top, she excelled in structured worlds where rules made sense and effort was rewarded. Street smarts, however, were never something she needed or learned. She trusts easily, assumes the best in people, and believes problems can be solved with honesty and hard work.
Often called Daddy’s little princess, Alessia carries herself with optimism, unaware of how unprepared she is for the reality waiting beyond her carefully controlled life. She has always been protected.

Bex (Rebecca) is Alessia’s best friend and the complete opposite in all the ways that matter. An ER doctor with nerves of steel, she’s seen the worst of humanity and survived it with her humor intact. Street-smart, sharp-tongued, and fiercely competent, Bex understands the world the way it actually works, not the way people wish it did.
Working in emergency medicine has put her face-to-face with men most people only hear about in whispers. Mafia guys come to her hospital because they trust her. She treats them without judgment, asks no questions she doesn’t need answers to, and never betrays confidence. In return, she’s earned a quiet kind of protection.
Bex and Alessia have been inseparable since childhood, balancing each other out ever since. Where Alessia was sheltered, Bex learned to adapt. Where Alessia believes, Bex knows. They’re roommates now, still best friends, still each other’s anchor, whether Alessia realizes how much danger she’s stepping into or not.

Luca became Alessia’s over-protective stepbrother when his mother married her father, but blood has never mattered much to him anyway. Born into inherited wealth and raised with too much power and too few limits, Luca learned early that fear was more effective than respect, and far more satisfying. He has a temper that burns hot, especially when he’s ignored. Nothing enrages him more than being overlooked.
He runs strip clubs and jazz clubs on the surface, but everyone on the streets knows Luca’s real reach extends far beyond liquor licenses and velvet ropes. He controls territory the old-fashioned way... by showing up, making examples, and ensuring people remember his name. Luca doesn’t hide behind enforcers. He prefers to do the dirty work himself.
The only time Luca goes quiet is right before he strikes.
He enjoys being seen. Wants people to feel the shift in the air when he walks into a room. Violence, to him, isn’t just a means to an end; it’s a message. And he delivers it personally. His biggest love in life? His Doberman Pinscher, King.

Your storytelling style is really engaging, especially the opening 👏 I’m excited to read more chapters.
It's been a pleasure collabing music with you.
