More Than Beautiful. Unforgettable!!
"What a journey this has been. Calling this story “beautiful” simply doesn’t do it justice. From the very first page, you’re pulled into the mesmerizing world of the Afrokan, a richly built universe so vividly described that it feels alive, as if you’re walking within it yourself. It’s impossible not to grow deeply attached. The writing style is impactful, filled with powerful quotes that linger with you long after you’ve turned the final page. While the characters embark on a central quest to save the Kondo from the flaring magic and restore balance to the continent, the true heart of the story lies in its emotional intensity. It’s a rollercoaster that keeps you breathless, torn, and completely invested. I found myself constantly torn between Konya and Mangi, just like Asha, unable to choose and that alone speaks volumes about the depth of the storytelling. The emotional pull is undeniable. One character, in particular, stood out with a devotion so profound it felt almost otherworldly. Somewhere midway through, I realized I was quietly rooting for him with all my heart and now, he holds a very special place in it.🥰 This is a story that stays with you long after the final page. If you haven’t yet immersed yourself in K.Sandie’s enchanting Afrokan world, what are you waiting for? Read. Read. Read. Highly recommended. 🖤"
You have to read it
"The emotional journey this book takes you on should be investigated. I've read love triangles before. But this was simply masterfully crafted to make you fail miserably to choose who was best. Both MMCs were the right man. Which made you want to be the FMC and not be her at the same time. Scenes linger, there is genuine growth and love so deep, it cuts through years together into something that concludes satisfactorily. Not going to lie, I would read this. Highly recommend if you're into slow burn romances, magical worlds and stories that stay with you long after you've finished reading them. "
Cool
"I love the story so far and excited to read what happens next. There's such a beautifully rich world to explore that the author has created and the characters are brilliantly witty ✨️"

"An emotional roller coaster that you will love and hate and still wish for more. The world is deep and broad. The emotional landscape carries the story from start to end. It's more than a love story. The writer has explored real issues about growth, trust, and healing. So well written. I recommend it 👌 👍 "
A masterpiece of a book!
"I need to lie down and I need someone to hold me and I need to talk about Konya immediately!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Let me start with the world. Afrokan is alive. The magic system — rune weaving as conversation rather than command, the Crystal as a living divine gift rather than a resource to be extracted — is one of the most elegant and thematically coherent systems I have encountered in fantasy. The continued expansion of the lore is real and felt through out the book. It is not just backdrop. It is the argument of the entire book made physical. The way magic works in this world is the way the world should work, and the corruption of it by the Kondo is the way the world does work, and that tension runs through every single page without ever feeling like a lecture. The worldbuilding earns everything it asks of you. What you have created is magical. Now. The romance. I am going to need a moment. Mangi is introduced as this centre, an ex who she is still undeniably in love with and becomes, by the end, one of the most beautifully written MMCs. His arc — from careless, smug, high on himself heir to a man who builds something real at significant personal cost — is handled with a maturity that romantasy does not. He is never villainised. He is simply a man who loved deeply and maybe questionably and learned, too late, to love well. The scene with his mother in the penthouse is one of the best things in the book. But Konya. He loves, freely without asking anything back for years. Gives Asha a safe space to be herself, find herself until he finds her way. It was devastatingly beautiful, chaotic, confusing in they way love actually is. Real. I felt him in each and every chapter, the person who knows he could love her better, if he ever got the chance. The chain scene made me audibly gasp. You have to read it to know The ending is perfect. Nothing is resolved with a bow. The world is healing, relationships beginning — not a clean resolution because things do take time to be fixed. This book ruined me. I was stuck between Mangi and Konya all the way until the end. Highly recommend. 💯"
Beautiful story. Full of Fire, Adventure, Romance and Drama
"Another amazing adventure in the Afrokan world 🌍! ✨ I’m completely obsessed with the way it feels both futuristic and cozy at the same time — like stepping into a world that’s new but somehow familiar. I love the yearning between the characters, the way the people who once loved each other are now standing side‐by‐side again, shaky but determined, facing an imminent threat together. 🥺🔥And then the plot twists are nothing short of extraordinary. The chapters are well written and the order of the story and flashbacks are perfectly interwoven! Sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. 💛📚✨"
