Chapter 1 The Beginning

Time: After 11:00 PM

The cyclone has drowned Chennai.

The camera sweeps across the city.Flooded streets. Half-submerged vehicles.

Flickering streetlights.Distant sirens swallowed by thunder.

Water moves through roads like dark rivers.

The camera glides toward Anna Nagar.

Camera pans across the flooded streets and focuses on the Annanagar East Metro entrance, isolated, eerily lit.

EXT. OPPOSITE ANNANAGAR EAST METRO — NIGHT

A car is already wrecked against a compound wall.

Rain pours over twisted metal.

A few people are gathered, rescuing the passengers.

Shouts mix with thunder.

A woman is carefully pulled out through a broken window.

She’s bleeding from her forehead, dazed, barely steady.

Someone supports her. Someone presses cloth to her wound.

Behind her, inside the car, silhouettes move as others are being helped.

Lightning flashes.

For a split second —

ANNANAGAR EAST METRO glows faintly through the rain.

EXT. ANNANAGAR EAST METRO — NIGHT

Arjun trudges through knee-deep water, hood pulled tight. Shoes squelch. Station doors are slightly ajar.

WATCHMAN

"Sir… the station is closing. You need to leave."

ARJUN

"All nearby streets are flooded. I can’t go out now."

WATCHMAN

"Alright… then stay. But I’ll be inside my cabin in the parking lot. Don’t wander too far."

He gestures to a small glass-enclosed cabin, dimly lit, and disappears inside. Silence envelops the station except for the hum of flickering lights and occasional drips from the ceiling.

INT. METRO PLATFORM — NIGHT

Arjun steps further in. Puddles reflect him, elongating his limbs. Shadows along the walls stretch unnaturally.

A low rumble vibrates through the station. Wheels squeal, doors slide — the unmistakable sound of a metro train moving, though the last train left hours ago.

ARJUN ( V.O)

"What…? That’s impossible."

Curiosity overcomes fear. He descends to the lower platform, each step splashing water. Reflections lag slightly behind him. Shadows flicker alive.

Suddenly, from all corners of the station, human-like figures with hollow, glowing eyes emerge. They move unnaturally, silently and entered the train.

Panic grips Arjun. He stumbles backward and runs upstairs to escape.

On the upper level, he sees a mid-aged lady at the ticket counter, sitting quietly as if waiting. Arjun was surprised, when he entered the Metro station, the ticket counter was empty.

ARJUN

(approaching cautiously)

"Hello… ma’am?"

The lady’s face twists. Blood trickles from her nose. She shouts, voice sharp and terrifying:

TICKET COUNTER LADY

"You should not be here! Get lost! Why… why have you done this?!"

Arjun reels back. His eyes dart for an exit — the entrance doors are gone. Vanished. Fear consumes him. He runs down to the platform and hides in a dark corner.

From shadows, three figures appear — Karthick, Rahul, Maya — drenched, carrying ruined notes and umbrellas. ARJUN noticed the voices. He has heard it before. "Yes , it's them, my friends."

KARTHIK

"Finally! You made it, Arjun… thought the rain drowned you."

MAYA

"Presentation ruined… everything ruined."

RAHUL

"EMI tomorrow… perfect night to die…"

Arjun notices their reflections lag slightly in puddles. Shadows flicker unnaturally.

ARJUN (V.O.)

"Something is… very wrong."

Karthick dances near the platform edge.

KARTHIK

"I claim the title of Metro King of Dance!"

MAYA(laughing nervously)

"Karthick! Watch out!"

He slips onto the tracks, miraculously unharmed. Not electrocuted

KARTHIK

"I… I didn’t… get zapped."

ARJUN (V.O.)

"Why… is this happening?"

A faint metallic whisper coils around them:

"Not yours yet… not yours… stay…"

Karthick laughs nervously, trying to hide fear.

Arjun looks down the dark, endless tracks. — only the shadowed tunnel stretches before him. Yet in his mind, he calculates:

ARJUN (V.O.)

"The next station, and the one after… Thirumangalam. If we can just reach the station after the next, the tracks rise to elevated pillars. Maybe we can finally escape this nightmare."

The group stands silently, looking at the dark tracks.

The station hums, water dripping, shadows flickering around them. The horror is only beginning.
