What is your opinion?

Totally thought I reviewed this already!

"I absolutely love this book, I think that the podcast theme is a seriously cool touch to reading and makes it fun as well as the adventures you go on with the speaker. Kay is doing an amazing job with this, and I love that I genuinely have no clue what I am getting my heart into in every chapter! If you haven't read it, then what are you even doing? Also, I don't get why Galatea hasn't picked this book up yet. What are they even doing?"

✨more than a love story✨

"This story has been such an emotional journey so far🖤 What I love most is how it captures the difference between being cared for and actually feeling loved and how complicated that can be👏🏻 The characters are written in a way that makes every interaction feel meaningful. Some bring comfort and safety, others bring intensity and a kind of unsettling pull, and that contrast adds so much depth without ever feeling forced. I appreciated the most the quiet moments. The realizations that come softly but hit deeply✨ You can feel her thoughts, her doubts, and that constant longing beneath everything. There’s so much tenderness in this story, even in the parts that hurt. It feels honest, nuanced, and very human🖤 I’ve really loved reading it so far and I’m excited to see where it goes 🖤"

Cannot get enough

"This book had me hooked from page one, it’s such a good coming of age story with emotions and situations that I feel many young girls can relate to and it’s also written in a way where emotions / characters feel so real, it’s almost like reading about old friends, I’m very curious where this book will lead "

A one of a kind read

"I just wanted to leave a review because this story honestly surprised me in the best way. From the first few chapters it pulled me in and I ended up reading way more than I planned because I kept wanting to see what would happen next. The pacing is really good and the plot keeps getting more interesting the further you get into it. One thing I really liked was the characters. They don’t feel flat or predictable, they actually feel like real people with their own personalities and flaws. It makes it really easy to get invested in what’s happening to them. I also really enjoyed the dialogue because it feels natural and not forced, which is something a lot of stories struggle with. The writing style itself flows really well too. It’s descriptive enough to paint a clear picture without slowing the story down, and the scenes are easy to imagine while you’re reading. There were quite a few moments where the tension was built really well and it genuinely made me curious about what would happen next. Overall this is a really engaging story with a strong plot and well written characters. It definitely deserves more readers. I can honestly see this doing really well if it was polished up and published one day because the idea and storytelling are already really strong. Great job and I’m really looking forward to seeing where the story goes next. 👏📖 "

More Than a Love Story

"I didn’t expect to get so emotionally attached to this story, but it completely drew me in. The writing feels raw and honest, and the relationships are messy in a very real, human way, nothing feels forced or idealized. It captures nostalgia, passion, and growth all at once, and somehow makes every emotion feel believable. Definitely one of those stories that stays in your head after you stop reading."

The Depth. The Characters. The Quality.

"I really really love this book so far and all that the author has put into it. Personally it is so hard to find persons so aware and so into the inner mechanisms of the mind, emotions, the thought process behind who we are and what we do. Couple that with the fact that there's so much romance and lowkey drama going on? I was hooked to say the very least. I definitely am not giving anything away, my suggestion? dive head first into this story and you will not regret it. Above all, keep an open mind, and this book is going to take you on a whirlwind of a journey. I honestly fear this book is too good and not a lot of people will end up truly understanding but if you DO know? you know ;). ⭐💖💖💖"

Wow wow wow

"The History of Shhh is an incredibly captivating read that pulls you in from the very first page. The writing is beautifully immersive—every scene is described with such vivid imagery that it genuinely feels like you’re watching a movie unfold in your mind. I often felt as though I was right there beside the characters, experiencing the tension, emotion, and atmosphere alongside them. What stood out most to me was how effortlessly the story kept building intrigue. Each chapter ended in a way that made it impossible not to keep turning the pages. Just when I thought I’d pause for the night, another twist or reveal would pull me straight back in. It’s the kind of book where you constantly find yourself saying, “just one more chapter.” The storytelling is both engaging and cinematic, creating moments that linger long after you’ve finished reading. The History of Shhh is the type of book that leaves you eager to dive deeper into the story, and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. A truly compelling and memorable read. 📚✨"

A Haunting, Visceral Masterpiece of Emotion and Discovery

"The author has a rare gift for sensory storytelling. You don’t just read about the scent of cologne or the roar of an airplane overhead; you feel them. The metaphors are striking—comparing life events to “mountains” and human presence to “autostereograms”—giving the narrative a unique, high-literary feel. If you love stories that are slow-paced, deeply emotional, and filled with "breathtaking" imagery, this is a must-read. It’s a beautiful exploration of how we hide, how we are found, and how we finally learn to speak our truth."

History of Shhh - My new favorite podcast..

"I thoroughly enjoyed chapters 1-4. This story articulates in such an emotional yet real way. I found myself relating to parts of the story that I haven't thought about in my everyday life in years. The narrator is so in tune with themselves and their world. There wasn't a dull moment. Each sentence led beautifully into the next. I love that it's setup to be like a podcast. The chapters are long, but I wouldn't change it honestly. The only thing I would change if I were the author would be the AI cover, though I know cover art can be pricey. This was one of my favorite reads thus far for the year. Highly recommend, and I hope the author continues publishing this story. "

This story literally has me in a chokehold!

"The author perfectly balances the heavy, emotional weight of the main character's past with some of the most intense, butterfly-inducing romance I've ever read. I love how raw and real Anonymous is... watching her try to heal, set boundaries, and figure out how to trust again is so beautifully written. Plus, the whole podcast framing device is such a unique and creative touch that makes it feel so personal 🙂‍↕️ The tension in this book is absolutely off the charts, and just when I thought I knew exactly where the plot was going, the latest chapter completely threw me for a loop 😩 I am so incredibly invested in her journey and the chemistry she has with the people around her. I know the story isn't finished yet, so I will literally just be sitting here refreshing my screen waiting for the next update. I desperately need to know what happens next! 💖🔥 "

The Architecture of a Soul: From Shattered Glass to Ivory Sculptures

"I cannot express enough how much I have fallen in love with this story! The last few chapters are a masterful blend of raw vulnerability and soaring empowerment. The author doesn't just tell a story; they sculpt an experience that feels both molecular and cosmic. The way the narrative shifts from the suffocating 'SHHH' of trauma to the liberating fire of 'The Second Mountain' is breathtaking. I was deeply moved by the transition of the protagonist from a girl hiding in the 'catacombs' of her past to a builder reclaiming her own narrative with fierce honesty. The chemistry between the characters is electric—not just in a physical sense, but in the way they challenge and heal one another. The prose is poetic, the philosophical insights on human rights and imagination are profound, and the emotional stakes are incredibly high. If you are looking for a story that is as intellectually stimulating as it is emotionally resonant, look no further. This is more than a romance; it is a 'Pygmalion' for the modern soul. I am absolutely hooked and cannot wait to see what this 'sculptor' creates next. A must-read for anyone who believes in the sacred power of stories!"

Raw, Honest, and Captivating

"This story feels incredibly personal and immersive, almost like listening to someone share their thoughts out loud. The podcast-style narration works really well and makes the emotions feel raw and honest. The exploration of desire, identity, and connection is handled in such a relatable way. I found myself pausing at several moments just to reflect on what was said. Really captivating so far!!"

I'm hooked!

"I am loving this story so much!! The premise of it being a podcast is so creative. The narrator is relatable and the other characters are very well-written and realistic. There's a good amount of spice. The emotions are honest and understandable, familiar. There's so many moments that make you pause and really think about things. And I love the little tidbits of trivia woven into the story, as well. "

Good Read.

"So, overall the book is good, but it could be shorter chapter wise. The chapters are long and feel forced at times. I like the idea of the story. The podcaster is going through her life with us and that’s a neat plot. I just feel it needs some work to make it more engaging. The authors writing style is good. Not many grammar issues. I definitely think this story has potential. Keep it up, you’ve got something good going here. "
