This Slow Burn is BURNING ME ALIVE

"I randomly started The Princess and the Pretender and didn’t expect to get this hooked, but by Chapter 13 I’m actually obsessed. Lior is my favorite. The way she’s always holding back and paying attention to everything just makes you root for her, and the tension with Seraya has me fully locked in. My favorite scene is the moment at the arch in Chapter 13 when Seraya pauses and then later asks Lior for a report. It’s such a small interaction, but it says so much. You can feel the trust and something more building there without it being obvious. I’d definitely recommend this if you like slow-burn tension and complicated characters. It really feels like something big is coming, and I’m excited for the next chapters."
