Summary

Caesar built his empire on discipline, power, and emotional isolation. At thirty, he commands respect with a single look — a man shaped by abandonment, hardened by responsibility, and ruled by control. Love, to him, is a weakness he cannot afford. But life does not ask permission before it changes direction. Maryam arrives breathless, late for the interview that could define her future. She is warmth where he is cold. Chaos where he is structure. Light where he is shadow. Their first encounter ignites not tenderness — but friction. He sees an interruption. She sees a man hiding behind authority. Yet beneath sharp words and guarded glances, something deeper stirs — something neither logic nor pride can silence. As buried trauma resurfaces and professional lines begin to blur, Caesar must confront the fear that has followed him since childhood: the fear of being left behind. And Maryam must decide whether loving a man who fears vulnerability is an act of courage — or self-destruction. The Emperor’s Unexpected is a contemporary romantic drama that explores emotional healing, power dynamics, and مخ the fragile balance between strength and surrender. It asks a timeless question: Can a heart built to rule… learn how to love?

Chapter 1

Emperor’s Unexpected 💕

Chapter 1

5:00 AM

It wasn’t the morning light that woke him.

It was the same dream. Always the same nightmare. His father walking away into darkness, Caesar running after him barefoot — but with every step, the ground swallowed him deeper.

Caesar woke up, checking his pulse. Thirty years old, and this dream still haunted him.

He rose from his massive bed. His muscular body carried scars that eyes couldn’t see. Some were from training. Others... from battles life had forced upon him since he was sixteen.

His dark eyes held a cold intensity that made most people look away. There was something in them — something dangerous, something that whispered of a past no one truly knew.

He walked into the bathroom. Under the hot water, he tried to wash away the nightmare.

But some memories were like scars.

They never truly disappeared.

---

Ten Minutes Later

He stood before the mirror, a towel wrapped around his waist. Water droplets slid down his broad shoulders as he stared at his reflection.

“Today... they’ll see who I really am.”

He moved to his spacious walk-in closet. No hesitation: black pants, white shirt.

But his hand paused at the belt drawer.

He chose the belt with the wolf-head buckle.

He always chose that one.

Little did he know — another wolf was about to walk into his life today.

---

Across Town

Maryam was sleeping in her usual way: one arm tucked under her pillow, the other stretched out as if reaching for something in her dream, one leg dangling off the bed.

Her mother stood at the doorway, watching. She smiled despite her exhaustion.

“She still looks like a little girl when she sleeps...”

But nostalgia had no place this morning.

She approached quietly...

Then exploded:

“MARYAM! Are you going to the interview or sleeping forever?!”

Maryam jumped so hard she nearly fell off the bed.

“Mom! I told you not to scream! What time is it?!”

“The time that decides whether you get your dream job or not!”

Maryam rushed toward the bathroom but stopped for a second in front of the small mirror on her door.

Puffy face. Messy hair. Sleep still lingering in her eyes.

She looked at herself and whispered:

“Here I come... world.”

Then she laughed softly at her own optimism.

Maryam had a strange talent — she could joke even when she was terrified.

---

On the Way to the Company

Caesar’s luxury car stopped at a red light. He was reviewing documents, completely focused.

Suddenly...

A girl ran past his car.

Blonde.

Breathless.

Running as if the entire world was chasing her.

For a brief moment, Caesar looked up.

Just one second.

The morning light caught her hair as she rushed past his car.

Then the moment was gone.

He returned to his papers.

But strangely... he couldn’t forget it.

Her eyes —

Wait...

Did he even see her eyes?

He frowned slightly, confused, and drove on.

---

In Front of the Company Building

Maryam stood staring at the massive tower. She clutched her folder tightly.

“God... I’m not asking for much. Just a simple job. Decent salary. A boss who isn’t insane.”

She chuckled nervously.

“The last one is rare...”

She walked inside.

The first surprise: no one.

No guards. No employees. No sound.

She moved cautiously. Her sneakers made soft echoes on the marble floor.

“There must be a mistake... there has to be...”

She passed one glass door, then another.

All offices empty.

Until she reached a massive wooden door.

Elegantly carved.

It looked less like an office door... and more like the entrance to something dangerous.

She raised her hand to knock.

---

On the Other Side of the Door

Caesar sat behind his desk, jaw clenched in fury. Casper stood before him, trembling.

“So they asked for the partnership... and now they’re backing out?!”

“I’m sorry, sir —”

“Get out.”

“But sir —”

“OUT!”

Casper practically flew out the door.

At that exact moment...

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Caesar glared at the door.

“I said I didn’t want anyone!”

But the person outside hadn’t heard him.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

He stood up violently. Heavy steps approached the door.

He swung it open in rage...

And froze.

Because the girl standing in front of him...

was the same one who had run past his car just minutes ago.
