Continuing A Thousand SkiesSara felt uncertainHer resources were limitedBut her dreams were bigTo create awarenessFor wildlife conservationFor saving little birdsBy little effort and knowledgeBy looking after injured dogs cats etcCaring for themRescuing and providing them first aid.Sara learnt kindness and giving food to street dogs or cats from her mother.Her Mom was an animal activist who had instilled in her empathy from her early childhood.Even though now that she was quite old and weak she continued feeding the homeless hungry strays.Sara continued her noble cause by feeding small birds too so as to create awareness among her friends and neighbours.And her efforts did win friends who shared her concern.When Sunny our pet dog died it created a vacuum in our life we started feeding to heal from his loss.Every pair of longing tired eyes and a empty tummy of a cat or dog was motivation for us to work harder and make them feel loved.Slowly a lot of people who resisted earlier started appreciating silently.They would too put small water bowls for birds , let dogs sit near their gates and even fed them leftover food lovingly.But transformation took time and energy.We could see Sunny smiled at us from above .And that was amazing in itself.
