I consider myself a fantasy writer, so The World Would Burn was an interesting challenge for me because it is much more Romantasy than my original series. When describing my literary world as a whole, the first series is an adventure, the second series is heartwarming, and the last series will be devastating. So, take the Romantasy while you can, because it won't last for very long (:

Summary

Roy is a guard to the King of Genevieve. Her world is rocked when she is assigned to a new job instead of being selected to partake in exciting and dangerous action outside of the castle. She is forced to buckle down and do hard work she has no passion for, until an opportunity changes everything. Will her first foray around the kingdom be what she always dreamed it would be, or will this journey change her in irreparable ways?
