A great plot, let down slightly by the writing

"I like the plot of this story that played with the old image of Death. By the way it hid who the true opponent was, it allowed the tale to have a nice twist at the end. Sadly though, the writing wasn't as good as the plotting and felt like it could do with another draft to tighten up the writing and bring it up to the same quality as the plot. Overall, I really enjoyed the tale and look forward to reading more of the author's work."
