The seed of doubt
Elias is a specialised supreme of architecture in Block-17. There’s no man better than him when it comes for the blueprint of a skyscraper, or any other building of certain honourable mention. Under the curtains of human marvels, a paranoid part is present in him. He believes his ears more than his eyes. The ears refine what the eyes define.
Elias reaches home late at night. He is readily in his business. He received a contract from Mr. Bilmorth for a 1700's style mansion early in the day. He then sits on the couch and then thinks about his project, his textbook sprawling on the mahogany. As he is jotting down the important features, he remembers something, the plot of land is unused for a century. Sometimes the backstory behind the backyards haunts a man, and it is not the backstory, it is the unsalubrious secret that is buried under the times abuse.
Elias starts to wonder why would Mr. Bilmorth use a plot of land which is unused for a century. "People often tend to buy when digits are less on the price tag" he mutters to himself as he is making the blueprint of the mansion. Mr. Bilmorth's choice of a 1700's mansion over an unused land amazes Elias. Why would a rich man care for an unused land, and a price tag with less digits.A break of sweat escaping from his forehead as he continues his work
