Love or Lie

In a hospital, outside the operation room, a nurse comes with a bunch of papers to be signed. There stood a man, with a 10 year old daughter along his side, looking nervous and scared. The nurse gave the papers and asked him to sign it. As he was reading the papers, his body was shvering, with trembling hand he signed it. Suddenly a big scream came from inside the OT.....

Cicil woke up, she was all sweaty because of the fear. She ran out of his room and went to the next room. A boy was sleeping soundly in the room. She gently stroked his hair and tried to wake him up, "Aeres, wake up or you will be late for school". She kissed him and went out.

Cicil sat on the couch in the hall and looked at the wall where her family photos were displayed. Cicil, who had lost her both parent in an accident, is now living with his younger brother. She was 14, when she lost her parents. She raised her 4 years old brother on her own. She is now his mother and father both.

"Mom, Dad, I really miss you"

Cicil cied silently in front of the photo, making sure not to wake his brother up.

At the breakfast table

Cicil was packing Aeres's bagpack for his school, suddenly he came and asked, "Sis, can you come to my school today? I will be getting an awsrd."

Aeres and Cicil both were very special, they were born geniuses. Both were super inteligent for their age, Cicil was only 13, when she completed her school and Aeres is in the 6'th standard already when he is only 8. He knows her sister's hardwork, and rarely ask for anything.

Cicil smiled at him and said, "I will".

Cicil had started working from the age of 15, because of being underage, she couldn't get proper job, but she stared donig freelance works online, selling her notes and study materials, giving tution classes, and many other jobs. But her first hiring was as servant, for the Harrison family.

In the morning, she works as a servant, by the afternoon, she takes tution classes and by the evening she works as helping staff in a restaurent. Finally at night, she study for her own.

She started her bachlors degree in law when she was 14, her father's friend Proffesor Deril helped her alot in her studies. She attends her collage on weekends. Because of photographic memory, she was able to balance her studies.

At the Harrison mansion:

"Morris, can i ask you something?"

{Morris is the head servant, he is the son of the head butler, so his work is to manage the servants}

"What? Asking for leave?"

"How did you know, that i was going to ask for a leave?"

"Cicil...right. That's your name, it's the second time you talked with me. It's easy to guess. Is it because of your brother?"

"Yes, but i have alreary completed the work, i just want some time off. I have to attend his program"

"Sorry dear, i can't allow it."

"Why, isn't managing the servants is your duty?"

"It is, my dear, but i can't allow for leave, you have to ask the young head. Right now only he is home. So if you want to ask, go to his office on the second floor", saying that Morris left.

Cicil had always tried to stay as low as she can, she always tried to take those works which kept her hidden, very few people knew her, she always tried to be away from the family members.

Mr. Kevin Harrison, the family's eldest son and the Vice presisdent of H&H companies(Harrison & Heritage) is the young master, and he is known for his temper and anger....and Cicil has to ask him for leave, which is nothing just a suicide attempt. But for her brother she decided to go for it .

Cicil was nervous and her body was trembling in fear, as she was getting close to the office room, she started hearing some loud noice, it felt like the noice of breaking glass.

She took a deep breath and knocked at the door, and the answer was a loud scream, "Who the hell is there? Didn't i told everyone to not disturb me?"

Hearing that she knew, it's the end. But still she went inside, the moment she got in, what she saw was unimaginable.

A man of higher built, jet black hair and perfact fitted muscles, was standing in half coat with bleeding hands. The man standing there was just double of her size.

There was no sign of pain on his face, but a super serious look. The glass table was broken into paices. He looked at her and sat for a moment. He leaned on the sofa and said,"Get this mess out"

Cicil was too stunned, she quickly cleaned that up and was about to leave, suddenly she noticed that the bleeding hadn't stopped yet.

"Cicil, it's not your problem, he can deal with it, he is not someone for whom you have to worry, leave....you have to leave."

But....she returned with a first-aid box. As she entered the room again, the man seemed to be asleep. She quietly approached him. He was covering his face with his left hand and his right hand was lying down the sofa.

It was still bleeding.

Cicil was gently treating the wound, as she was wrapping it up, she noticed the hand.

It's her first time to observe a man's hand this closely. His hands were twice as big as her hand, the veins were making it look more bulky.

No matter how mature she was, after all she was still a young girl. As she was in between her admiration toward him, she heard some words

"What are you doing?"

She was startled with the sudden responce. She fell down, the man stood up and come in front of her. Cicil was scared to death, her hands were trembling.

"What were you doing? I am asking you something"

The room was filled with only his loud voice, Cicil was trembling, she wanted to answer but her lips felt like they were sealed.

"I am sorry sir"

"She is new here, i am sorry for her behaviour"

Morris looked at her and signeled her to leave. Cicil quiclely got up and ran out of the room.

"Make sure it never happen again"

"What wereyou doing there"

"I told to ask from young master, not the eldest sir"

"Do one thing, leave for today, I will handle everything for you"

As Cicil was the youngest there, everyone had adored her hardwork and courage to work for her brother. Hence they all have tried to protect her.

"I am sorry Morris, I got you in trouble"

"No, it's okay"

"So forget everything, aren't you getting late for the school function? Just leave already"

Cicil quickely got her thing, she didn't even changed and left. She was in a hurry to reach the school. As she entered the school gate she noticed her clothes. The people around were looking at her. She was feeling a bit of shame and embarresed.

She quietly took her seat and tried to cover her clothes with her bag and jacket.

The program started, students with excellent performance in academics and sports were being awarded. Soon Aeres was also called, he was awarded for being the first position holder for his class and his excellent performance in science and maths.

Aeres, who was standing at the stage, looked around for her sister. As soon as he found her, a big smile came on his serious face.

After the program

Aeres hugged her tightly and gave her his award. Cicil was happy, at that moment she had already forgotton about the previous incident.

At night

Aeres was sleeping, Cicil was doing her study... suddenly she got a email. As she checked the mail, she was shocked. She rubbed her eyes and looked at it again...
