Understanding One’s Mind

To understand one’s mind could be the most complex task you ever try to complete, no matter how deeply you want to understand. There is no correct or normal way for a brain to function. Our brains are wired differently; there will always be mental diversity, and everyone has their own individual processing style. So to understand one’s mind, you have to live in it, which is impossible and always will be.

No one can or will ever understand how you truly feel. Yes, you can express it and help them understand to an extent, but no matter how hard you try, we will always know that people cannot truly understand. Everyone will claim to understand to soften the blow. In reality, it is for comfort so you don’t feel alone.

You will always be alone in your head, with no one to understand how you process heartbreak, grief, mental distress, and even personal difficulties. People will always have these challenges. They can go through the same thing, but often in completely different ways because of our individual processing styles.

There are endless possibilities and opportunities in life, but you will never reach your full potential if you don’t face challenges. You have your own way of overcoming these challenges and reaching your full potential.

So don’t change yourself for any reason. The next time someone says they understand, don’t believe them—it will never happen, and that’s not an issue. You are the only person who needs to understand yourself, trust your own judgment, and create the life you desire.
