"I’ll be the first to admit that I’m usually not a fan of the whole 'second, third, or fourth chance' romance trope. Honestly, half the time it feels like I’m just reading a Hallmark movie script, super cheesy, totally predictable, and usually just a bit too sugary for my taste! But somehow, this story completely won me over. I absolutely fell in love with the writing style. It felt so authentic and kept me hooked from the start. At first, I was a little worried we were only going to see things through Amber’s eyes, and while I love a good internal monologue, I was craving more. Then, the plot really started to pick up steam, and we finally got to see things from Alexander’s perspective. Let me tell you, that was such a game-changer! Getting his side of the story, especially understanding the real, messy and sad reasons behind that second breakup, made the whole narrative so much more powerful. It turned a good story into a seriously compelling one. I’m genuinely so happy they found their way back to each other and got that 'happily ever after' they deserved. If I had one tiny critique, it’s just that I’m a total sucker for a long-term epilogue. I would have loved it if we could have fast-forwarded a few years to see them settled down and maybe even starting a little family of their own. I just want to know they’re still thriving! But honestly, that’s just me being greedy because I didn't want the story to end. Aside from that, I have absolutely nothing but high praise for this one. It was a total delight!"
