Prologue
Over the last 30 years, there have been monumental scientific discoveries. Many have remained secret due to the risk they pose to the ruling elites. One of these is the discovery of the Cybele Test: a unique genetic compatibility test capable of finding your "counterpart"—a 100% genetically compatible match. The union of two counterparts not only ensures offspring free of any genetic risk or disease but also guarantees a high potential for physical, mental, and emotional superiority. These became known as PBs ("Perfect Beings"). Many elites saw this as a method to secure the most capable successors for their businesses. Mergers, acquisitions, and agreements were made based on these results. But none of this guaranteed that two counterparts would love each other—only that their lineage would be successful.
