“JJBA: Shining Moon” by Kenji Yukanna

Dear my loving wife,

I made this entire memorial album for you to ponder on the memories of our strange and elaborate adventures. I remember the first time we’ve met… it was a full moon, shining upon us as you ran across the woodland forest near your father’s castle. You were afraid when I grabbed your leg, however, you quickly got flustered when you saw me. However, as we walked to clean my wounds with your kindness (and your father’s medicine) you noticed my secret ability to change into a more… muscular form.

The only thing I remembered was that I was able to shift into this form at any given moment, and was given this strangest ability to replicate the heat of the sun… but it wasn’t until the advisor and general of your beloved father, General Amico Zeppeli was able teach me the ways of using “Hamon”, and that I had a strangest ability. However, he called this ability my “Stand”. Specifically, he called it “Harvest Moon”, based on an old song on the radio. He said my Stand’s ability was allowing me to change the shape thanks to a special gene in my body that aligned with how my spirit forms. He called this the “Werestar” ability.

However, later on, I decided to become a soldier in order to help you and your father as a debt I had to pay out of chivalry, and made it so that I fought some of the toughest soldiers and mercenaries with similar abilities. From a big fighter named Lucio, to a spy in the castle called Bullseye, we’ve faced many different things. That is… until I met my long-lost brother. His family, OUR family, was in charge of all of the crusades that have happened. He wanted me to join, but only he left you guys in peace. So far, after being able to face the giant War of the Sun Warriors, after facing wave after wave, and finally… we made peace. It wasn’t about power. It was about lineage. A lineage onto how we, the people, come before harmony and ruin. For there is always humility and diligence at hand when it comes to love and war. I’m glad I wrote to you. I shall be back soon.

- From the love of your life, Joey Joestar
