The graduation ceremony
Today is the graduation ceremony of Boston University, everyone is happy. The principal is going to announce the student of the year. This year there are two nominees and both of them are selected. They are Sam and Reva.
They both come from the same class, both are medical students and dreams of becoming surgeon. Even their project is selected by the university and is financed by a big company. They both are Childhood friends and are together from school time.
After the ceremony, there was a party for the graduate students. Reva doesn't have any interest in these. Sam took her to a place. It was a cliff.
The atmosphere was calm and pure. The moonlight was reflected everywhere as the moon was shining brightly in the dark sky. The sound of the cold breeze was playing something musical. She finally gathered all her courage to tell him about her feelings towards him. But as she approached him he suddenly turned back and said sorry.
She was confused for the moment and suddenly, he pushed her into the cliff.
She was shocked and puzzled also. She somehow managed to hold a rock but was confused about why he pushed her. She asked for help but he didn't react. She looked at him, he was smiling. She got terrified at once. Then she said, "You did that intensely, right. Why you did that, why you pushed me?"
He was smiling at her. He came closer to her and said, "Because I want to clear your name from the project. After your death I will be the only nominee. So for my after success you must have to be vanished. I didn't want to do that but I also don't have any other way. I am sorry Reva."
She looked at him and said kindly, "You know Sam, you are my only family. You are the first person in my life who cares about me. If you want that you just have asked me, I would have taken back my name from the project. You have a very special place in my life, you were the first who told me how to live life; you have given me the courage and power to prove myself. I selected science only because of you, so that I could be together with you. I tried my best to get the highest marks so that I could be in your class and sit with you."
"But if you want this then I will also accept it. But the only thing I want to tell you is that I love you."
Sam realized what he had done, he quickly jumped down held her hand and said, "I am sorry, I don't know how it happened. Don't worry I will save you, just hold my hand tightly."
"No, it's too late now. I will take my leave." saying that she pulled her hand back and fell in the Cliff. She was just praying to God to not punish him for her death.
Suddenly she felt pain in her chest, because of the pain she woke up but she was puzzled that she had fallen from the cliff, how is she still alive. She observed her surroundings, it was a beautifully crafted luxurious room, the designs were old but beautifully crafted with gold and silver.
She got down from the bed and suddenly heard someone, "You might be thinking how are you still alive".
She turned around and found a strange man standing in front of her in traditional clothes which were beautifully crafted with silver thread. He was standing at the door. The sun was shining brightly and the light was creating an effect as it passed through him. He gave her a deadly gaze. She got terrified because of it. He comes closer to her.
As she was totally confused about the scenario, she pushed him away. Nothing happened to him but she fell down. She observed him, he was a tall handsome man with a beautiful face.
Suddenly he grabbed her hand tightly, seems like he was not helping her but intensely causing her pain. She pulled her hand back and asked, “Who are you?” He replied, “How dare you forget about me, let me tell you if you are pretending then first think about him”
She was getting even more scared, suddenly her head hurts. It hurts like hell. She felt like she had gotten a heart attack. The pain was getting worse and worse every second passing. Suddenly her vision got blurred and she fainted.
“Open your eyes”, she heard someone. She opened her eyes and saw a girl the same as her standing in front of her. The atmosphere was calm and Bright. There was light everywhere. She looked at the girl, she even thought that she was standing in front of a mirror. Reva asked her, " Who are you? What is this place? Am I not dead?”
The girl answered, " I am you, but from the past.”
“You were too kind to forgive the person who caused your death. Being too kind also caused my death.We both are alike but the main difference is that I am dead and you are going to be alive in my body.”
“I love my family very much and can’t see them suffering after my death. You always wished for a family so I prayed to God to grant you a second chance. From now on you are me and you have to take care of them. This is your new start so cherish it. I will take my leave.........” after saying that she disappeared.
Then suddenly a series of memories passed through her mind. They are the memories of the owner of the body. Those went through her eyes in a flash. And suddenly everything turned black and she fell asleep....
She opened her eyes and found a girl beside her, sitting near her bed. As she saw her awake she shouted in happiness, “Your highness you are finally awake, how are you feeling now”I can’t help and said, “Who are you and what is this place?”. After hearing my words she cried out, “Are you still feeling unwell, why you don’t remember me, your highness. I will call the imperial doctor” saying that she went out of the room.
“My head still hurts”, she said. She carefully looked around the room and found that it was not the same as before. The room was nicely crafted and beautifully designed.
Suddenly a man comes in, he looks old. He was the imperial doctor. He examined her and gave her a pill and went out. After talking about the pill she fell asleep.
Outside the room, he reported to that person and said, “I pay my respect to you, your highness. I am afraid but it seems that the princess has lost her memory. She lost so much blood and was badly injured, especially her head. Maybe because of that she lost her memories”. He replied, “No, she has to remember everything”.
