Interesting concept

"After the clunky writing that begins this story an interesting concept emerges. It’s a military vs humanity story merged with an accidental super hero story. And halfway through the first chapter the writing gets less self-conscious and more natural. ​A teenage boy is the focus of the story, and a very interesting character. Being in the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time he is given a serum that gives him super human powers. A great deal of time is spent in his training.Neel Dervin is a well-paced and well told story. If the can get through the first thousand words or so, they will enjoy Neel Dervin and the Dark Angel."
