A dark paranormal/fantasy story with wolves and politics.
"I’d actually 100% recommend this if you’re into darker fantasy with complicated characters. I went in thinking it’d just be cool wolf vibes and action, but I ended up staying for the characters. like... I don’t even know if I fully like them and that’s the best part lol. they’re messy, a little concerning, and you’re kind of just along for the ride trying to figure them out. Valya is honestly wild, but I couldn’t stop reading. and Maxx sneaks up on you... he’s quieter but the more you read, the more you realize there’s a lot going on with him. also, the way the story balances things?? it can get heavy, but then you get these quieter moments that somehow hit harder. some scenes just stayed in my head after I finished. Anyway, if you like morally gray characters, a darker tone, and stories where you’re not told exactly how to feel... I’d say give this a try. I’m still kind of processing it but I already want to keep reading!"
