Chapter 1

"My name is Terry Brown, yeah weird right? Almost my entire life growing up I was mocked about having a boy's name, yeah whatever who cares? Anyway I decided to change that in my final senior year when my mother gave me the best advice ever that I must just be proud and positive of who I am, so what if I have boys name I'll proud of it because it's what makes me unique. I was like 'yes I'm Terry so what the hell', to whoever teased me about it and guess what it all stopped. I graduated high school getting excellent grades and finally pursuing my dream career, to be a lawyer. Ever since I was a kid I'd play lawyer on my own and taking matters in my hands being the centre of it all and saving the day. My mother would watch me feeling all proud that her daughter has a great vision. She'd join me in playing when I was a kid as a suspect of some case and funny thing, I would always charge her guilty every time we played. My mother is my best friend, well my father's out of the picture since he decided to abandon us years back and my mother had to raise me on her own. I guess I choosing law was because I feel it will relieve me of the anger I have against my father by putting bad people like him behind bars. To be honest I feel if I met him later on in life after graduating, I would look for any reason to make sure he gets locked up. It's not like I'm being mean it's just anger...... I hope. So right now I'm studying for my very first exam paper of my first semester, mahn I'm so nervous my legs keep shaking uncontrollably and I haven't eaten the whole day which is very unlike me. I'm exhausted and I keep dozing yet I know I'm not ready..........."

There's a loud crack of thunder and lightning from the sky and all of the sudden a girl drops from the sky falling into her hometown city. All around the streets are flyers of people's stories of how they miraculously got saved. Yet again in some newspapers, people wonder why their deaths are written about yet they're alive. She goes to some old library because she feels drawn there. Inside she sees a ton of newspapers and some books, but there was one huge newspaper on a large table and on its cover as a title was written, A Life Newspaper. She made a really shocked face....

Terry: that's weird.

She flips the next page and sees a message written there;

To you Terry Brown,

You have been chosen to save the fate of this world by saving the lives of many. Many people are being killed, robbed and been beaten up badly, but you can end it all by stopping these bad people and putting them in their place. It has always been your destiny since your existence.

Terry: [thought to herself] everything made even more sense as to how I've always had this drive in me. I will fulfil my destiny.

She flips the next page and sees the lives of everyone in her town that she has to save with the how, the when and the where they'll die. She already figured out the best approach on how to face it all.

Terry: I'm gonn' save everyone. No one can stop me. Mahn, I feel like a detective right now (laughs)

She looks for the death that's happening soonest and according to the instructions at the back of the newspaper she closes her eyes and thinks of exactly where she wants to go. In a moment she's there. This particular case had a man with a knife threatening a woman to give him her purse. The woman was wailing and complied, but the robber was about to kill her still.

Terry: [she screamed out to him] HEY!!

Man: [turns to her sounding intimidating] mind your own business and get out before......

Terry: [moves closer] who the hell do you think you are huh?! Who do you think you're talking to mahn!

Man: alright I guess when I'm done with her, you're next

Terry: I'm giving you to the count of three, freak to let her go and give the nice woman back her bag

Man: [laughs] you think you're some brave shitty little thing huh??

Terry: [while moving closer] one......

Man: this will be fun.......

Terry: two.......

Man: [just about to slice her throat] yaaa!!

Terry: three..... [With full strength she holds his hand and turns the knife towards him while she kicks his nuts with her knee so hard and the man groans. She pulls the woman's bag and gives it back to her]

Woman: [with tears on her face] thank you

Terry: my pleasure [she grabs the knife and tosses it far away while she twists his arm and he cries out]

Terry: who's the shitty one now huh, freak! [She turns him around so she holds his hands at his back while she pushes him] move!!

She takes him to the station and the woman follows to give her statement and he's put behind bars. She feels this calmness, power, pride and anxiety for more action. She even moved out of her mother's house because she knew she could protect herself which was true because she beat up the two men that recently tried to rob her. She undressed them, tied them together and poured powder on them while she wiped them so hard. They mourned but she didn't stop till she felt she got her fill and put them behind bars. The newspaper had a new note that appeared saying she was doing great all may seem easy, but the hardest task is at hand and must prepare for it which she agreed to hence all it would show her about the crime occurring was the where, the how and who were now hidden. This was tricky for her, but she kept pushing on saving people all over her town areas. She was very excited throughout and grew impatient for the so-called 'hardest task'. She got to save people even from themselves in situations of suicide, in robberies which apparently was the most common in her town and people been beaten up mercilessly.

This moving about in saving people allowed her to move across time as well, she could go to the past, future or even the present, all just depended on the earliest or next person to die.

Again there was a crack of thunder and lightning suddenly she falls from the sky off for her journeys of time to save people, but this one time the case annoyed her.
